Gadar 2, starring Sunny Deol, is reaching milestones and has now officially surpassed the Rs 300 crore mark in India. The movie played with nostalgia and eventually became very popular. Gadar 2 may have experienced a tiny decline in attendance, according to early estimates, but Sunny’s movie has nonetheless finally reached Rs 300 crore at the box office.

Gadar 2 reportedly made 19.50 crore gross on its eighth day in India, according to preliminary estimates. During the first week after its release, Gadar 2 brought in 284.63 crore. The movie has so far brought in 304.13 crore at home theatres.

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel play the main characters of Tara Singh and Sakeena in the blockbuster movie. The Gadar 2 team held a press conference earlier this week to discuss the movie’s enormous success.

Sunny said, he was quite stressed before the movie’s release. The actor said, he remembered his initial reaction to seeing the audience’s adoration for Gadar 2. He also said, he spent the entire night crying and laughing once the movie came out. When his father spotted him, he was nearby. Sunny admitted to his father Dharmendra, he hadn’t taken any alcohol. I’m glad, what can I do? Main khush aa main ki kar, the actor said.

The film Gadar 2 is the follow-up to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which hit theatres in 2001. Ameesha Patel played Sakeena, and Sunny portrayed Tara Singh, a truck driver, in the first movie. The story of the film place around 1947, the year that India was divided.

Gadar 2 follows Tara as he crosses the border in order to rescue his son, portrayed by Utkarsh, who is being held captive in Pakistan. The audience has shown the film and the entire cast, a lot of love and appreciation.

Famous fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani explained the attire that he created especially for Radhika Merchant’s Hastakshar ceremony which was held on March 3, in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Hastakshar marked the end of Radhika and Anant Ambani’s lavish three-day pre-wedding celebrations, which took place on March 1-3.

A poetic ode to Indian heritage, as Tarun called it, Radhika’s outfit included a pre-draped lehenga saree with a tapestry of hand-painted tiny artistry weaved with the exquisite elegance of kasheedakari technique.

Made in stunning tones of rose gold and silver, Radhika wore the lehenga-saree with a blouse that had beautiful jaali and resham embroidery on it.

Tarun wrote on Instagram, along with a sketch of Radhika’s ensemble, a hand-painted dupatta delicately drapes around her, narrating a story of tradition and modernity seamlessly intertwining.

Radhika completed the royal ensemble with a scalloped, panelled rose gold tissue veil. She used delicate makeup and jewelry set with royal diamonds to complete her appearance.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations had five events to mark the three-day celebration. The first was themed as ‘An Evening in Everland, ‘A Walk on the Wildside, and Mela Rouge. The theme for the second day was Tusker Trails, and the third day ended with a mega celebration of the Hastakshar ceremony.

Meanwhile, people went gaga online after the videos and photos from lavivsh Ambani’s pre-wedding went viral. International pop sensation Rihanna also performed on the first day of the celebration. This was her debut performance in India.

The lavish party was attended by 1,000 people, including Bollywood celebrities, sports personalities, and businessmen. There were also prominent personalities from all across the world, including former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

On January 19, 2023, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were engaged in Mumbai during a Gol Dhana ceremony. The couple is all set to tie the knot this year, in July.

The Sara Ali Khan starrer Ae Watan Mere Watan trailer has been released today. The film, which documents a crucial phase in the quest for independence, is based on true events and is set against the backdrop of the Quit India Movement of 1942.

In the biopic, Sara Ali Khan will be seen playing the role of Usha Mehta. In addition to spreading the notion that India can govern itself and doesn’t need British help, she uses radio to promote the cause.

The three-minute trailer takes viewers back to the time before independence by introducing them to 22-year-old Bombay college student Usha. In her quest to aid India in gaining its independence, Usha establishes an underground radio station, which serves as the catalyst for the Quit India Movement. The trailer emphasizes the bravery, selflessness, and resourcefulness of the country’s youth all through India’s struggle for independence through the journey of her character.

Inspired by real-life events, the film follows a crucial phase in India’s struggle for independence. The patriotic thriller-drama is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra.

Along with Emraan Hashmi making a special guest appearance, the film, which is directed by Kannan Iyer, also stars Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O’Nell, and Anand Tiwari in important parts. The film has been written by Kannan and Darab Farooqui.

During a recent interview, Sara spoke about her character and said, it has been an honor beyond words to portray such a powerful character in Ae Watan Mere Watan. The movie serves as both a tribute to the strength of the human spirit and a reminder of the sacrifices made by many unsung heroes, the actor added.

The film is scheduled to release on March 21 in five languages, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, on Prime Videos in India and in over 240 other countries and territories globally.
