Beggars flaunt QR code for alms in Guwahati, social media users hail digitalisation of begging
In the video a visually impaired beggar in Assam’s Guwahati can be seen moving closer to a person sitting in a car and asking for alms. On having a closer look at the beggar it is observed that the beggar is wearing a QR code which is hanging in his neck. The man transfers Rs 10 to the beggar digitally through the PhonePe QR code.
