He felt like he was the unluckiest man in the world, he said in an interview, adding that he felt out of place in his surroundings, which made his depression even worse.
Amit’s life was flipped upside down once he passed the UPSC exam. It assisted him in regaining his sense of self-worth. Although he received E grades in mathematics as an IIT student, he was placed among the best students in the discipline at the UPSC.
Amit Lodha, an IPS, was always captivated by guys in uniform because his maternal grandpa was an IAS officer.

Waheeda Rehman to be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award
Anurag Thakur further noted that at the time when the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam has been passed by the Parliament, Waheeda Rehman being awarded with the lifetime achievement award is a fitting tribute to one of the leading ladies of Indian Cinema.

Indian actor Waheeda Rehman will be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award for her stellar contribution to Indian cinema. She is regarded as one of the finest actors of Indian cinema. The actor worked in more than 90 films, in a career spanning over five decades. Earlier, she was honoured with Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1972. She also received Padma Bhushan in 2011.
Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur announced that Waheeda Rehman is being bestowed with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award this year for her stellar contribution to Indian Cinema. He added that Waheeda Rehman has been critically acclaimed for her roles in Hindi films, prominently Pyaasa, Kaagaz ke Phool, Chaudhavi Ka Chand, Saheb Biwai Aur Ghulam, Guide, Khamoshi and several others.
The Minister mentioned that the actor in her career spanning more than five decades has essayed her roles with extreme fitness, leading to a National Film Award for her role as a clanswoman in the film Reshma, Shera. He continued that Waheeda Rehman has exemplified dedication, commitment and the strength of Bharatiya Nari who can achieve the highest level of professional excellence with her hardwork.
Anurag Thakur further noted that at the time when the historic Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam (Women’s Reservation Bill) has been passed by the Parliament, Waheeda Rehman being awarded with the lifetime achievement award is a fitting tribute to one of the leading ladies of Indian Cinema. He added that the actor has dedicated her life after films to Philanthropy and the greater good of society.
The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is the country’s highest award in the field of cinema. It is bestowed annually at the National Film Awards ceremony by the Directorate of Film Festivals, an organisation which was established by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The recipient is honoured for their remarkable contribution to the growth and development of Indian Cinema.

Dharma Productions unveiled the video of Alia Bhatt’s next film Jigra. The film is directed by Vasan Bala. It is the story of a sister’s love for her brother. In the film Alia will do anything to protect her brother. The film is scheduled to be released on 27th September 2024.

She is carrying a bag and looks sombre. She is seen in a street where she is surrounded by neon lights and hoardings. It seems she is waiting for someone. In the voice over she is seen saying Dekh Mujhe meri rakhi pehenta hai na tu? Tu meri protection mein hai. Tujhey main kuch bhi hone nhi dungi.
Alia took to X (formerly twitter) and wrote from debuting in a Dharma production to producing a film with them. She said it felt as if coming in full circle from where she had started. She said every day is a different day challenging, exciting and a little scary. Jigra is produced by Alia Bhatt’s own production house Eternal Sunshine and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Other projects of Alia include Jee Le Zara with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. But the film is stuck because Priyanka’s schedule has been affected by the strike in Hollywood. Variety of comments started coming on social media where on one fan said Alia becoming a producer and doing collaboration with Dharma productions from where she started as an actor. He added Alia is continuously rising as an entrepreneur producer and an actor. One social media user said the video of the film looked as if a new masterpiece was there on the way.

Swara Bhasker, Fahad Ahmad blessed with a baby girl
Samajwadi Party activist Fahad Ahmed and Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker got married in January this year. The couple legally registered her marriage under the special marriage act on January 6.

Bollywood Actor Swara Bhasker and her husband Fahad Ahmed welcomed their first child, a baby girl. Swara gave birth to her little angel on September 23. Swara shared the name of the baby girl Raabiyaa. According to reports the Swara has kept the name of her daughter after the Sufi mystic Rabia Basri. She also shared a number of pics of the newborn.
One photograph shoes the proud parents with the little angel. The second picture shows Sara sweetly looking at her baby girl. Large number of fans, family and friends started wishing them on social media. Neena Gupta congratulated the couple. Swara had announced her pregnancy in the month of June.
