This season, the popular talk show Koffee with Karan 8, hosted by Karan Johar, kept viewers captivated. Many Bollywood celebrities graced the sofa this season, including Zeenat Aman, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty, Neetu Kapoor, and Ajay Devgn. The most recent teaser for the episode was released a while back, along with an announcement from the director that it would be the finale episode of the season.

Popular social media influencers and content creators Kusha Kapila, Danish Sait, Tanmay Bhat, Sumukhi Suresh, and Orry, who also serve as the season’s special jury, will wrap up the show.

A while back, Karan Johar teased the public with the latest teaser of the upcoming episode on his Instagram account. With the celebrity influencers seen making humorous jabs at the host, the show seems to be a full-on entertainment package that will leave viewers in laughter. In the upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan, influencers and popular comedians Tanmay Bhat, Danish Sait, and Sumukhi Suresh are also spotted bringing a spice of humour and wit in the finale episode.

In the promo, comedian Tanmay Bhat can be seen making the remark that the show should really be called “Filter Koffee with Karan” because this season has so many filters.

Then, Danish goes on to ask if it bothered him that Zoya Akhtar had succeeded in launching the star kids in The Archies? The Archies, which came out last month, featured the debut of three famous star kids: Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda and Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor. Karan nods in agreement, savouring his coffee. He continues by saying that he wants to go so they can take over the show.

Meanwhile, Orry, who will also be featured on the show, is seen disclosing details about his dating life when the host unexpectedly asks him, “So you’re dating five people?” In response, KJo jokes, “You are a liver, and now you are a cheater,” while Orry responds, “I am cheating, so I am a cheater.”

This season was wholesome with a whole lot of fire too, according to the caption that was posted with the promo. Karan further wrote, This season will close it up with our special jury, who isn’t holding back when it comes to sharing their opinions! The final episode will air on Thursday, January 18, on Disney+ Hotstar.

Seema Sajdeh likely to join Ex-Husband Sohail Khan in Prime Video’s ‘Alliance’ as wildcard contestant

Seema Sajdeh is reportedly gearing up to enter Prime Video’s Alliance as a wildcard contestant shortly after Sohail Khan’s entry, potentially marking the former couple’s first reality show appearance together since their divorce.

Prime Video’s reality series Alliance is set for another major twist, with reports suggesting that fashion designer and entrepreneur Seema Sajdeh will soon enter the show as a wildcard contestant. Her reported entry comes just days after actor-producer Sohail Khan, her former husband, joined the competition as its first wildcard contestant. If confirmed, it will mark the former couple’s first appearance together on a reality show since their divorce in 2022.

Hosted by Kunal Kemmu, Alliance premiered in June 2026 on Prime Video and has quickly gained attention for its strategy-based format. Unlike traditional reality shows, contestants must depend on trust, teamwork and changing alliances to survive. The game begins with 16 celebrity contestants, who enter in pairs with someone they already know. They are divided into four teams: Kings, Warriors, Legends and Hunters. Contestants compete in physical and mental challenges, earn points and face eliminations. After every elimination, new wildcard entrants are introduced, changing the dynamics of the game.

The lineup of original contestants includes Daisy Shah and Zaid Darbar, Ravi Kishan and Riva Kishan, Kushal Tandon and Arslan Goni, Mini Mathur and Nikhil Chinappa, Ruhee Dosani and Niti Taylor, Payal Dhare(Payal Gaming) and Sabby Suri, Vanshaj Singh and Dolly Javed, and Delbar Arya and Armaan Khera.

Sohail Khan’s participation is significant as it marks his first appearance as a contestant on a reality show, despite previously judging television programmes. Before entering the house, he told photographers, “Please support me,” expressing excitement about taking on a new challenge.

Seema Sajdeh and Sohail Khan were married for over two decades and share two sons, Nirvan Khan and Yohan Khan. Although they separated in 2022, both have maintained that they continue to co-parent their children harmoniously. If Seema joins Alliance, viewers will witness the former couple sharing screen space in a game built on trust, strategy and shifting relationships, making it one of the season’s most anticipated developments.

Kunal said that there was a time when he did not receive any acting offers for almost a year. During this period, many people in the industry advised him to stay visible by attending social events, hosting parties, and sending gifts to influential people. However, he chose not to follow this approach because he believed that his work and talent should speak for themselves rather than relying on networking or publicity.

The actor admitted that being unemployed affected him emotionally and professionally. He often wondered whether he had made the right career choices and worried about how long the difficult phase would continue. Despite these challenges, he remained patient and focused on improving his skills instead of compromising his values.

Kunal explained that success in the entertainment industry depends on many factors, including timing, opportunities, and audience preferences. He said that actors sometimes face periods when good roles are not available, even if they are talented. According to him, rejection is a part of every artist’s journey, and learning to deal with it is important for long-term growth.

Over the years, Kunal has built a reputation through his performances in several films and web projects. His directorial debut also received appreciation from audiences and critics, showing his ability to take on different creative roles in the industry. Looking back, he believes that the difficult period taught him resilience, patience, and confidence in his abilities.

His honest remarks have started conversations about the realities of the film industry, where professional success is often uncertain. Many aspiring actors face similar struggles before receiving meaningful opportunities. Kunal’s experience highlights the importance of perseverance, self-belief, and staying committed to one’s principles, even during challenging times. His story serves as a reminder that setbacks can become valuable learning experiences and that consistent effort often leads to new opportunities.
