Rainbow Six movie

Michael B. Jordan will reprise his role as John Clark in the next installation of Paramount’s adaptation of Tom Clancy’s novel Rainbow Six. The project will be helmed by Chad Stahelski of John Wick fame.

The movie will serve as follow-up to the actor and studio’s 2021 action flick, Without Remorse, the Hollywood Reporter said in its report.

Jordan will be reprising his role as John Clark, one of Clancy’s popular characters from his Jack Ryan novels. Clark has headlined two novels, Without Remorse and Rainbow Six, with the latter spawning a line of video games.

Without Remorse, made during the Covid pandemic, served as Clark’s origin story and debuted on Amazon Prime on April 30, 2021.

However, according to sources, Paramount intends to give Rainbow Six a theatrical release, the report said.

No plot details for the movie have been revealed.

Stahelski made a smashing directorial debut with the wildly popular John Wick in 2014, and then went on to helm all the subsequent installments of the Keanu Reeves-starrer franchise.

The stuntman-turned-filmmaker has several projects in development, including a remake of Highlander that will star Henry Cavill. Last year he produced vampire action flick Day Shift starring Jamie Foxx, which released on Netflix in August 2022.
