Richa Chadha hit headlines on Thursday over her Galwan tweet on Twitter which has now triggered a massive social media outrage.
The actor reacted to the Northern Army Commander Lt General Upendra Dwivedi’s statement that informed the Indian Army is ready to execute orders like taking back Pakistan-occupied Kashmire (Pok).
Replying to the tweet, Chadha tweeted ‘hi Galwan’ which has now sparked a row.

Shiv Sena spokesperson Anand Dubey took to Twitter and demanded Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and Home Minister Amit Shah to take strict action against the Bollywood actor and also called her tweet ‘anti-national.’
Bharatiya Janata Party leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa also reacted to the tweet and called it disgraceful. He also asked the actor to withdraw the tweet at the earliest and insulting Indian armed forces is not justified.
Former National Vice President of BJYM Neeraj Jain also reacted to the actor’s tweet and asked the social media users to report the account for such demeaning comments on the armed forces.
Moreover, Richa Chadha’s ‘hi Galwan’ tweet led to a protest on Twitter wherein users are massively bashing the actor. One user wrote people like Richa Chadha tweets to draw attention and need only publicity. Another user wrote the actor’s brothers and maternal grandfather were in the army and despite of that she mocked the armed forces and insulted them.
Yet another user wrote slammed Bollywood.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal says every passing day feeling more confident as he meets his Tamil Nadu counterpart MK Stalin

On Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin as a part of his nationwide campaign to seek support of opposition leaders in his fight against ordinance.
Kejriwal post the meeting with Stalin addressed the media saying if the elected government don’t hold any control over the officials, there is no value of having an elected government. He said it is first time in the history when the government negate a Court verdict, he further termed it unconstitutional and undemocratic.
The Delhi CM further added that the ordinance will soon be moved in the Rajya Sabha, he informed in the upper house the BJP has 93 seats and if all non-BJP parties unite, it will be possible to defeat the BJP.
Kejriwal thanked Stlain for his support and said with each passing day he is getting more confident and termed it a semi-final of the 2024 general elections.
The AAP leader was accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Since, last month Kejriwal has embarked on a pan India tour to meet and garner support of the various opposition parties and leaders in order to defeat the ordinance in Rajya Sabha.
The AAP leader until now has held meetings with his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and his deputy Tejashwi Yadav, Nationalist Congress Party supremo Sharad Pawar, former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray.
Kejriwal is also schduled to meet Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday.
The Centre last month had moved an ordinance to nullify the Supreme Court judgement in favour of the Delhi government giving it the powers of transfer and postings of officials working under it.
The Supreme Court had solved the 8-year long dispute between the Centre and Delhi government, ordering in favour of it but later was changed by the Centre moved ordinance taking back the power to its hands.

BJP Mahila Morcha gets 2024 task after PM Modi hands over PMAY house keys in Kanpur
The BJP Mahila Morcha will reach out to all women PMAY beneficiaries from June 3, the party wants women beneficiaries to share their thoughts with PM Modi and write postcards to him, expressing thanks since they are now owners of houses worth lakhs.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over the keys to beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in Kanpur in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other senior BJP leaders.
The programme was held to mark the nine years of the PM Modi led-government at the Centre. The BJP Mahila Morcha will reach out to all women PMAY beneficiaries from June 3. The Morcha wants women beneficiaries to share their thoughts with PM Modi and write postcards to him, expressing thanks since they are now owners of houses worth lakhs as part of the Lakhpati Didi campaign.
The BJP Mahila Morcha will visit the women beneficiaries to understand and identify their ideology and ask them their reasons to subscribe to it, BJP Mahila Morcha UP unit president and Rajya Sabha member Geeta Shakya said. This campaign has been organised ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha election and is likely to be end by June 19.
Not just PMAY beneficiaries, the BJP Mahila Morcha will also visit beneficiaries of Ujwala Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission to know their experience and its impact on their lives. They will get it shot on camera to share with PM Modi, Shakya said. Those who share pictures with their PMAY house, will be able to share it on the NaMo App.
The BJP women’s wing has been given the responsibility to mark the completion of nine years of Modi government as part of the Maha Sampark Abhiyan. Apart from this, the women’s wing is going to cover the 18-25 age group which voted in the 2019 Lok Sabha election and will ask them what they thought of the last five years of the Modi government and their expectation from the Modi government in the future.
Another programme, the Nav-matdata Yuvati Sammelan, to appeal to young women, who are first-time voters in 2024 Lok Sabha elections, is also on the cards. Mahila Morcha workers will also visit anganwadis to meet parents of children and gauge their views on the government scheme and its impact on their lives.

Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra to be renamed Ahilyanagar
The district has been renamed after the 18th century ruler of then Indore state Ahilyadevi Holkar.

In yet another pursuit of name change of the cities, the Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra will now be known as Ahilyanagar, announced state Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday.
The district has been renamed after the 18th century ruler of then Indore state Ahilyadevi Holkar.
CM Shinde while speaking at an event to mark the 298th birth anniversary of Ahilyadevi or famously known as Ahilyabai at Choundi in Ahmednagar district, the birthplace of the erstwhile ruler, announced the decision.
Ahilya Bai was born to Mankoji Shinde and Sushila Shinde, a Marathi Hindu family.
Shinde while addressing the gathering said his government works on the ideals of governance that was directed by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Ahilyadevi Holkar. Hence, as per the wish of all the people, the decision of renaming the district has been taken.
Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis praising Ahilyadevi said, without her the Kashi Vishwanath temple and other temples of Lord Shiva would not have existed. Fadnavis further termed the current BJP and Shinde headed Shiv Sena goverment to a Hindutva government.
It is said that at around 1780 CE, the Kashi Vishwanath temple was built by Ahilyadevi Holkar.
Fadnavis also put stress on the earlier decision of their government renaming Aurangabad and Osmanabad in the state.
Earlier, Auranagabad was renamed as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Osmanabad as Dharashiv by the Shinde-Fadnavis government.
Ahmednagar is a district formed in 1822, situated 120 km northeast of Pune in Maharashtra and is said to have named after the 15th century ruler of the region Ahmad Nizam Shah.
Ahilyadevi Holkar, the former Queen of Malwa has the credits on her name for the construction of many famous temples across India.
There many other structures named after her such as the Ahilyabai Holkar stadium in Indore, Madhya Pradesh along with a bus stand after her name in Uttar Pradesh and other such structures.
