Shamshera trailer out: Ranbir Kapoor-Sanjay Dutt’s starrer is a cheap copy of Aladdin, Padmaavat, and Magadheera
Going by trailer, Shamshera has nothing new to offer apart from Ranbir Kapoor stepping out of his chocolaty boy characters.

The much-awaited trailer of Shamshera starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt is finally out on Friday. Fans were waiting with a bated breath to witness Ranbir Kapoor’s never-seen-before avatar.
Directed by Karan Malhotra, Shamshera stars Vaani Kapoor as the female lead.
Shamshera trailer out
The trailer of Shamshera is definitely not worth the hullabaloo the film created on social media. It starts with a powerful voice-over of Ranbir narrating his story about his ancestors, tribe, and Kaza. The new dacoit in Kaza troubles people, but for good causes of course because he is the lead in the film, and his notorious side will remind you of Will Smith’s Aladdin.
It further has action sequences reminding you of films like Padmaavat and Magadheera. Sanjay Dutt’s lethal officer is something that might save the film, however, it will remind you of Kaancha from Agneepath. Shamshera will remind you of several other films.
Going by trailer, Shamshera has nothing new to offer apart from Ranbir Kapoor stepping out of his iconic Bunny image from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
Watch the trailer here:
Shamshera is produced by Yash Raj Films and the story revolves around the fictitious city of Kaza where a tribe was tortured and enslaved by ruthless general Shudh Singh.
Earlier, the first look of Ranbir Kapoor was leaked online prior to the trailer release. Ranbir Kapoor in his rugged look might have impressed his fans, however, the trailer has nothing more to offer.
