After massive success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol all set to reunite with JP Dutta for Border 2

A source familiar with the project said, the team has found a story from the 1971 Indo-Pak conflict that has yet to be portrayed on the big screen and are all charged up to bring it to the show.

Border 2 will be helmed by JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. They are in advanced discussions to collaborate with a reputable studio for Border 2, and an official confirmation of the film and the collaboration is about to follow. The process of drafting the story will start shortly, regardless of whether the story has already been already finalised and is based on the history of the Indian Army, the source said.

Sunny Deol will undoubtedly join the cast, but the casting team will continue to put together a group of actors. The team will cast actors from the younger generation rather than assembling the full Border Troop because the movie will focus heavily on action. The only actor from Border who is going to appear in Border 2 is likely Sunny Deol, the insider said.

In the year 1997 when Border was released, it had the biggest box office earnings. The movie received praise for its reach, emotion, acting, drama, and music, and it has stood the test of time.

The teaser of Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana has been released, offering the first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama. The film, which is planned as a two-part cinematic project, is scheduled for a Diwali release later this year.

The teaser shows several key moments, including scenes from the coronation and the exile period in the forest of Panchavati. Ranbir Kapoor appears in the role of Rama with a calm and composed presence. The teaser also briefly shows Yash in the role of Ravan towards the end.
