It has been more than two and a half years since Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide, but his Bandra West flat is reportedly still vacant. No tenant is ready to live in that flat. When people come to know that Sushant had committed suicide on this flat, let alone taking it on rent, no one even comes to see the house.

Recently, while talking to the media, the Mumbai based real estate broker told that despite being in a good location, people are afraid to buy SSR’s flat. He further added that the residential space costs Rs 5 lakhs per month.

People are afraid to buy or rent the flat

Real-estate broker and influencer Rafiq Merchant recently shared some photos and videos of the flat on his social media account. When the media asked him whether this is the same flat where Sushant Singh Rajput lived, he replied yes.

He further added that no tenant is agreeing to live in this this flat. He said that whenever someone seems interested, they refuse as soon as he she knows about the history of that flat. Rafiq says that the owner of the flat does not want to reduce its rate because if he does so, the flat will be sold soon.

Owner does not want to give the flat to film stars

The owner of this flat is an NRI and now he does not want to rent this flat to any film star. No matter how big a celebrity the person comes out to be. He clearly said that the flat should be given to a person associated with the corporate sector.

Rafiq says that earlier people did not even come to see this flat, but now slowly people are showing interest in buying it. Even if someone is ready to take it, their family refuses, so no deal has been finalized yet.

Sushant used to spend 4.51 lakhs for this flat

On 14 June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput had committed suicide in his own flat. This house has been vacant since SSR’s death. There are four big rooms in this sea facing apartmental flat. It has a big hall and a drawing room. Sushant used to pay 4.51 lakh rent every month for this flat.
