KGF actor Yash to co-produce Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana

KGF’ actor Yash will co-produce Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, with Namit Malhotra.

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramanyana is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film has created a buzz ever since it was announced. In a recent development, Rocking Star Yash’s Monster Mind Creations and Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios have teamed up to produce the epic mythological story.

Earlier, there were speculations that Yash would play the role of Ravan. In Nitish Tiwari’s magnum opus, Rabir Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Lord Ram, although there are still speculations about Sita’s role. However, the makers have yet to reveal the official cast and crew of the film.

Namit Malhotra, the global CEO of DNEG, has been planning his goals to adapt this classic story for the big screen for several years. Namit met Yash when they were talking about their ambition, and the two masters of cinema soon realized they had the same goal of introducing the world to India’s rich cultural legacy.

Along with DNEG, who will provide a never-before-seen visual cinematic experience, and famous director Nitesh Tiwari, Namit and Yash have set out on a historic adventure to showcase the enduring popularity of Indian mythology and storytelling traditions on a global scale.

Speaking about the same, Yash said that he has always wanted to produce films that will introduce Indian cinema to a worldwide audience. Additionally, he disclosed that he was in Los Angeles to form a partnership with one of the top visual effects studios, and he expressed surprise upon learning that the inspiration behind it was a fellow Indian.

The combination of the two producers’ exceptional creative and technical skills and experience is what is generating such excitement among fans for this ambitious and thrilling production.

Meanwhile, after the shooting of the film began, pictures of supporting cast members wearing makeup and hair costumes surfaced online. In one of the videos that went viral, Ranbir Kapoor was seen doing a workout to look fit in the character of Lord Ram.

Japanese influencers recreate iconic scenes from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, video goes viral

Nobody would have thought that the iconic Bollywood movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham has gone global and in Japan, influencers are recreating the iconic scenes dressed up as Rahul and Anjali.

One such video circulating on Instagram shows Mayo and Kake Taku(Japanese influencers) recreating the scene when Kajol’s character Anjali, meets Shah Rukh Khan, who is Rahul Raichand, for the first time and mistakes him for her sister’s fiancé and tells him, baade mazakiye ho ( You’re very funny!).

The video was captioned, Learning Hindi in 2024 is like…Bade Mazaki Ho – Comedy Scene – Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The Japanese influencers also shared the video on their Instagram handle. The Japanese influencers nailed every detail of the scene flawlessly. And fans on social media, whether they’re K3G enthusiasts, die-hard SRK supporters, or Kajol fans, were absolutely mesmerized by it.

The video has gone viral with 333,653 likes till now which are only increasing. Large number of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol fans reacted to the viral video. One Instagram user Kabir Atwal wrote Chinese SRK and Chinese Kajol. One social media user felt Japanese Kajol is cute.

One Instagram user Sunidhi Chauhan said their praised the acting skills of the Japanese influencers. Another user joked that this video can be termed as Chandni Chowk to China. Many Instagram users appreciated the Japanese influencer couple and shared heart emojios on the viral post. One user Neeraj Sharma called Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as the best Jodi. One user wrote that he loved Japanese people.

Munjya teaser out: Maddock Films introduces India’s first CGI actor

Maddock Films delighted viewers with the teaser of their upcoming movie Munjya, which features India’s first computer-generated actor. After the steller success of Stree, the production company is about to create new eara in filmmaking with another ground-breaking character. 

The teaser for Munjya was unveiled on Maddock Films’ official Instagram account, giving fans an exciting look at the monster Munjya and his search for the mysterious Munni. Combining humour and suspense, the teaser promises an intense cinematic experience.

Maddock Films introduces a new type of monster in Munjya, following the exciting introduction of characters such as the terrible werewolf in Bhediya and the haunting witch in Stree. This computer-generated image (CGI) not only talks and moves but also makes viewers afraid, offering a novel take on the genre.

Munjya, which was directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, is a landmark film in Indian cinema history since it is the first to have an entirely computer-generated image throughout the entire running length. On May 24, the much-anticipated trailer will be released, adding to the excitement surrounding the movie’s premiere, which stars Sharvari, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, and Sathyaraj in the main roles. Munjya explores the origins of Indian mythology and traditional beliefs while crafting a thrilling and mysterious story. It is expected that viewers will be captivated when the movie opens on large screens on June 7, 2024. 

The production company has a long list of upcoming projects to its credit, in addition to Munjya, such as Chhaava, Shiddat 2, Sector 36, Happy Teachers Day, Pooja Meri Jaan, and Sarvagunn Sampann. Additionaly, it is also heading towards films like Stree 2, Bhediya 2, and Vampires of Vijay Nagar to their Horror-Comedy Cinematic Universe.

The fact that producer Dinesh Vijan is collaborating with Parineeti Chopra on a musical set in the UK demonstrates his dedication to innovation and assures viewers a diverse range of entertainment in the coming months.

The actor will be also sharing screen space with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in Farhan Akhar-helmed Zee Le Zaraa. The film was announced in 2021, however, there is no major update on this.
