Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt is celebrating her 31st birthday today, March 15. Her actor mother Soni Razdan took to her Instagram account to wish her daughter a very special birthday on this memorable day. Along with sharing a number of photos, Soni sent Alia a heartfelt message.

Soni shared a close-up photo of Alia from her 2022 film RRR as her first image. In the following photo, Alia was seen posing candidly with Ranbir Kapoor on her wedding day. Soni also shared a collage of images from Alia’s childhood days. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani actor looked adoreable as young chlid. In another photo, Alia was seen on her wedding day, leaning her head on her mother’s shoulder.

The Patiala House actor called Alia her darling and expressed her love for daughter in her Instagram caption. “How much do I love thee? Let me count the ways…If I did I know the words. Would quite run off the page So let me just say it simply then. Happy Birthday my darling I love you more than you will ever know,” Soni Razdan wrote.

In Mumbai, Alia Bhatt celebrated her 31st birthday alongside her husband Ranbir Kapoor, and her family. The Raazi actor was spotted leaving for her family’s dinner date. Wearing a blingy corset with black pants, she channeled her inner Golden Girl for the occasion. On the other hand, Ranbir chose a more relaxed appearance. Bhatt addressed the questions he had been receiving from followers on social media and thanked them for their interest. However, he made it clear that he is not part of the upcoming season.

His clarification came after his name had been circulating in discussions about possible contestants for Bigg Boss 20.

Batwara 1947 has had a disappointing run at the box office, and actor Shabana Azmi has now shared her thoughts on why the film may not have connected with audiences. According to Azmi, one possible reason could be the difficulty some viewers had in accepting Sunny Deol as a Muslim character.

The film, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, was released on August 14. It has reportedly earned around Rs 53 crore so far, while Awarapan 2, which released on the same day, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.

Azmi also suggested that there may have been confusion among some viewers about Sunny Deol’s character in Batwara 1947. She said that even some people who had watched the film believed Deol was playing a Pakistani character, whereas, according to her, he plays an Indian Muslim.
