Popular YouTubers Samay Raina, Tanmay Bhat, and Bhuvan Bam recently appeared on a special episode of the iconic Indian quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), hosted by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. His jokes revolve around the surprisingly pervasive influence of the film Sooryavansham, a movie whose ubiquitous presence on Sony Max apparently led to Samay’s repeated viewings, making it, in his words, the first, second, and third Amitabh Bachchan film he ever saw.

The humour escalated as Samay questioned Bachchan’s character’s decision to taste the poisoned kheer a second time in Sooryavansham, eliciting laughter from both Bachchan and the audience. The interaction highlights the comfortable rapport between the established superstar and the rising stars of the YouTube generation.

The playful banter continued as Bachchan himself quoted the iconic line, “Rishte mein toh hum tumhare baap lagte hain, naam hai Shahenshah,” from his 1988 film Shahenshah. Samay, ever quick-witted, immediately retorted with a humorous request for a share of Bachchan’s property, given the newly established “father-son” relationship.

The popular reality show “MTV Roadies” returns with its landmark 20th season on January 11. Titled “MTV Roadies Double Cross,” this season will be broadcast on MTV and will stream on JioCinema every Saturday and Sunday following its premiere, as announced in a press release.

Rannvijay Singha, the winner of the show’s inaugural season in 2003, will reprise his role as host for this edition, which is being promoted as the “boldest and most unpredictable season” yet. “MTV Roadies has always felt like home to me, and being part of this milestone season is truly special. With the Double Cross theme, fans are in for the most intense and unpredictable journey in the show’s history,” Singha expressed.

Alongside him are gang leaders Prince Narula, Neha Dhupia, Elvish Yadav, and Rhea Chakraborty. Dhupia remarked, “The overwhelming love from fans brought me back to fulfill their wish. MTV Roadies has always been about strength and power, and as a woman, I aim to lead with courage and inspire my gang to break boundaries and shine. This journey has empowered me to speak my mind and stand firm in my beliefs—a lesson I’ll carry forward for my gang as we aim for excellence.”

Elvish Yadav is the newest addition to the team. Excited about joining, the YouTuber stated, “I’m here to bring the energy and shake things up! MTV Roadies Double Cross is truly the right place for the bold, and I’m ready to lead my gang with full force. Prepare for fierce competition and genuine sportsmanship!”

Reflecting on the upcoming season, Prince Narula said, “After a decade with MTV Roadies, it still gives me goosebumps. Double Cross will challenge everyone, and I’m prepared to guide my gang through every twist and turn.”

Rhea Chakraborty, the winner of the previous season, added, “Winning last season was thrilling, but this time, I’m ready to defend my crown with double the determination. The Double Cross theme resonates perfectly with the fierce competition that MTV Roadies embodies, and I can’t wait to experience it.”

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actors Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat, who played the roles of Babita Krishnan Iyer and Tapu in the sitcom, have been reportedly got engaged in Gujarat’s Vadodara.

According to reports, both stars exchanged rings in the presence of their families at a close-knit ceremony in Vadodara. The engagement occurred just a few days back, reports further suggested. The families of Dutta and Anadkat had accepted their relationship and they were also present at the ceremony.

There have been rumours of them dating each other ever since Raj joined TMKOC. The reports also suggested that people present at the ceremony knew about it already. Some people were certain that Munmun and Raj would get married eventually. Therefore, it is not shocking that they are engaged now, it added.

Dutta recently shared a post on Instagram and wrote “Strolling around in the beautiful neighbourhood of Getsemaní, Cartagena and capturing its beauty in the early morning sunshine.”

Earlier in 2021, both Dutta and Anadkat responded to the rumours of them dating each other.

Munmun took to her Instagram handle and said 13 years of entertaining people and it didn’t take 13 minutes for any of you to rip my dignity apart. So next time someone is clinically depressed or driven to take their own life, pause and think whether it was your words that drove that person to the edge or not. Today, I am ashamed of calling myself a daughter of India, she wrote further in her post on a social media platform.

Raj also hit out at trolls and said to everyone, who has been constantly writing about him, to think of the repercussions that can happen in his life because of your cooked-up or faked stories and that too about his life without his consent. All the creative people out there should channelise their creativity somewhere else it will be helpful to them. May God bless them with good sense, he wrote in a post on Instagram.

There has been no official announcement about their engagement so far.
