A new Covid-19 variant has been detected in Israel on Wednesday. The country confirmed two cases of the variant which is still unknown, Israel’s ministry of health said in a statement.

As per reports, the new strain combines two sub-variants of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus, BA.1 and BA.2. The reports also said that the hybrid versions of Covid which combine two variants have also been found before as in the case of Deltacron which combined Delta and Omicron variants.

According to reports, both the cases that have been reported in Israel have shown mild symptoms of headaches, fever, and muscular dystrophy. The infected passengers are teenagers who had arrived at Israel’s Ben Gurion airport during PCR tests.

Israeli health experts said that it is common to get combined strains and it happens when there are two viruses in the same cell. They further exchange genetic material and multiply which creates a new virus. On the other hand, Israel’s Covid response head Salman Zarka said that the phenomenon of combined variants is well-known and at this stage, they are not worried about it leading to serious cases. He also hoped that the situation will return to normal.

Back in January, Israel detected a double infection of Covid-19 and Influenza, florona. The first case of florona was detected in an unvaccinated pregnant woman.

Meanwhile, as many as 2,539 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in India on Wednesday. With this, the total tally of coronavirus infections has surged to 4,30,01,47. The death count reached 5,16,132, as per the data released by the health ministry of India. The nation has started its vaccination drive for the 12-15 age group. According to the Union Health Ministry data, more than 3 lakh children have received their first shot of the Covid-19 vaccine.

A Florida man took to his Instagram handle to reveal real condition of Florida coast as Hurricane Ian continues to lash. The man wrote in the Instagram post that his brand new $1 million McLaren P1 supercar washed away due to Hurricane Ian.

The luxury car owner named Ernie also shared a series of photos on his social media showing that his new yellow car drifting away with string storm water in the Naples neighborhood.

The caption read, “Car went thru the garage.” In his next post, the man posted a picture of his McLaren with its winged doors open. Ernie wrote that his car went through a hurricane supply. He posted another picture of his bright yellow McLaren parked next to Rolls-Royce inside a garage.

Till now the post has got more than 69.600 likes and many social media users expressed their grief and sadness over the incident. People wrote ‘so sorry’ and ‘heart breaking’ for the Florida man. This incident took place after Hurricane Ian continues to lash the Florida coast.

Dramatic television footage from the coastal city of Naples showed floodwaters surging into beachfront homes, submerging roads and sweeping away vehicles.

The US Border Patrol have said that more than 20 migrants are missing after their boat sank, with four Cubans swimming to shore in the Florida Keys islands and three rescued at sea by the coast guard.

Moreover, Hurricane Ian is set to affect several more million people across Florida and in the southeastern states of Georgia and South Carolina.

Yes! you read that right. Trying to go an extra mile a woman named Karly Pavlinac Blackburn sent her resume printed on a cake to get a job in Nike. She also took to her LinkedIn handle to let the world know about the same.

While sharing the news with every, Karly wrote that a couple of weeks ago she sent her resume on a cake to Nike. The woman also took time to author an elaborate piece on the social networking site, explaining why she came up with the notion of printing her resume on a cake as opposed to the conventional method.

Karly also wrote that the team was not hiring at that time but she wanted to find some good way for the team to know who she was. According to her, what better way it could have been than sending a cake to a big party.

The North Carolina woman also revealed that she received a recommendation from a friend to print her resume on top of a cake and mail it to the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.

This act has got mixed reviews on the internet. While some said that the lady should work on enhancing her skills rather than trying to take up attention, While other told her that it was a great move. Some people commended her original thinking and said it was a wonderful concept, while others termed it a ‘gimmick.’
