The Israeli Prime Minister’s assertion that Hamas was responsible for the attack on a Gaza hospital was refuted on Wednesday by the Palestinian Ambassador to the UN, Riyad Mansour, who declared, he is a liar.
According to the Palestinian envoy, Israeli forces attacked the hospital on suspicion that there was a Hamas facility nearby.
He tells lies. His digital spokeswoman erased a tweet claiming that Israel carried out the hit, believing that this facility was home to a Hamas base. A copy of the tweet is with us. They have now altered the narrative to attempt placing blame on the Palestinians.
He went on saying in a statement, the Israeli Army spokesperson stated that hospitals should be evacuated. They cannot make up explanations to justify their actions because they are accountable for the crime and have the purpose of fleeing or damaging hospitals.
In his statement, Mansour demanded an immediate ceasefire and held Israel responsible for the incident.
Prior to this, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that information obtained from multiple sources showed Islamic Jihad was behind the botched rocket launch.
An analysis of IDF operational systems indicates that a barrage of rockets was fired by terrorists in Gaza, passing in close proximity to the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza at the time it was hit, he wrote X, previously known as Twitter.
In another post on X, Netanyahu said, the entire world should know: It was barbaric terrorists in Gaza that attacked the hospital in Gaza, and not the IDF. Those who brutally murdered our children also murder their own children, he said.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s spokesperson, Tal Heinrich, said on Tuesday that the IDF does not target hospitals. They only target Hamas strongholds, arms depots, and terror targets, he stated.
Heinrich spoke after Palestinian sources reported that 200–300 people are thought to have died as a result of an Israeli attack on Gaza City’s Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital.
Hundreds of people died as a result of an Israeli bombardment on a Gaza City hospital on Tuesday, according to the Hamas-run enclave’s health authorities, as per reports.
Over 500 people died in the explosion at Al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital, according to a Gaza civil defence chief.
