US, North Korea War of Words Continues

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Kim’s threat for “US and puppets total destruction” meets by Trump’s “only one thing will work”

US President Donald Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un administration have been raising war of words with each passing day. On Saturday Pyongyang’s denouncement of the “US and the puppet forces” was met with Trump’s “only one thing will work” comment without elaborating.

According to KCNA watch, spokesman of Pyongyang based Pan-Korean Emergency Measure Committee for Opposing Nuclear War Drills against the DPRK on Saturday denounced the US and the puppet forces for seeking to introduce massive US nuclear strategic assets into South Korea and its vicinity while trumpeting about “expansion of cyclic deployment”, taken aback by the nuclear might of the DPRK for self-defence.

The statement referred to the recent US and South Korea Summit at UN General Assembly held on September 21 and said “The evil cycle of escalation of tension persists and the danger of the outbreak of a nuclear war mounts on the Korean peninsula.”

North Korea further said “The U.S. strategic assets that were deployed on the Korean peninsula will be the first target of destruction by the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK which has the U.S. mainland across the Pacific within their striking range and the puppet forces will face total destruction.”

Reacting to the North Korea’s tough talking, President Trump tweeted Saturday that 25 years of agreements with North Korea have failed “making fools” of the US negotiators.  Then he added that “only one thing will work.”[/vc_column_text][vc_raw_html]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[/vc_raw_html][vc_column_text]Due to its geographical location, Pyongyang is 15:30 hours ahead of Washington giving enough time to US leaders to react to North Korean statements the very same day.

Recently President Trump, in one of his tweets, said that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was “wasting his time” in trying to probe North Korea’s willingness to talk. The comment came when Tillerson returned from a meeting with a top Chinese official.

Defence Secretary James Mattis also supported Secretary of State preferring diplomacy to resolve the North Korea issue. Mattis was quoted saying, “The defence department supports fully Secretary Tillerson’s efforts to find a diplomatic solution, but remains focused on defence of the United States and our allies.”

However, US President Donald Trump, while speaking at UN General Assembly, threatened to “totally destroy” North Korea if it threatens the US or any of its allies calling Kim as “Rocket Man who is on a suicide mission.”  However, Kim responded by calling Trump a “mentally deranged dotard”.

North Korea has, during recent months, has tested several intercontinental ballistic missiles and biggest nuclear weapon. Pyongyang also sent two missiles to Pacific Ocean overflying northern Japan. South Korea and Japan are US allies while China and Russia have been instrumental in delaying any military intervention against North Korea. However, Beijing has recently halted trading goods and capped oil supplies to Pyongyang.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Trump says Iran agrees to never have nuclear weapons, rejects $300 billion fund claim

Donald Trump said Iran has agreed to never possess nuclear weapons under a proposed framework, while dismissing reports that the US would provide Tehran with a $300 billion reconstruction fund.

Donald Trump statement

US President Donald Trump has said that Iran has agreed to a commitment that it will never develop or possess nuclear weapons, describing it as a central element of a proposed understanding between Washington and Tehran.

Speaking about the ongoing diplomatic efforts, Trump also rejected reports suggesting that the United States planned to provide Iran with a reconstruction or investment package worth $300 billion. He described such claims as false and said no such arrangement had been agreed.

The remarks come as discussions continue over a broader framework aimed at easing tensions between the two countries. According to Trump, the understanding would ensure that Iran remains without nuclear weapons while opening the door for future engagement if the terms are respected.

Questions remain over final agreement details

Despite Trump’s comments, several aspects of the proposed arrangement remain unclear because the full text of the agreement has not yet been made public.

Reports indicate that negotiations have involved discussions on sanctions relief, access to frozen assets and potential economic measures linked to Iran’s compliance with future commitments. However, the exact scope of these provisions has not been officially confirmed.

Another key issue is how compliance would be monitored. Details regarding inspections, verification mechanisms and the handling of Iran’s existing nuclear materials have yet to be fully explained.

Further negotiations expected

Officials have suggested that discussions on technical nuclear matters could continue even after the signing of an initial memorandum of understanding. Such talks would likely focus on implementation and verification measures.

The proposed framework is being closely watched internationally, as any agreement between the United States and Iran could have significant implications for regional stability and global non-proliferation efforts.

For now, Trump has maintained that the core objective remains clear: ensuring that Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon while denying reports that Washington has committed to a multibillion-dollar reconstruction fund.
