Delhi schools reopening today for class 6 and above after decreasing levels of air pollution
Delhi schools are reopening today for physical classes on December 18, 2021, after being closed earlier this month because of rising air pollution in the city.

The Commission for Air Quality Management in the National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas has permitted a phased resumption of physical teaching-learning activities when they find an improvement in air quality in the region.
Classes from 6 and above are opening in the schools as per the notification. Although, other educational institutions have been also allowed to reopen in the first phase.
According to the Delhi commission, from December 18, 2021, onwards all government, government-aided, and unaided recognized schools, as well as MCDs, NDMC, and Delhi Cantonment Board schools will resume for class 6 and above.
However, for classes up to the 5th standard, state governments of GNCTD and NCR will take the decision for opening the schools and resuming the physical classes after taking into account the IAQII Air Quality Index and the winter vacation schedule on December 27, 2021.

Despite major improvements, Delhi’s air quality remains in the very bad category, according to statistics from the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).
All government and private schools from Class 6 onwards, in the national capital, colleges, educational institutions, skill development, and training institutes, other training institutes, and libraries are allowed to resume physical teaching-learning activities.
It was also emphasized in the arguments that online programmes are not accessible to all students for a variety of reasons due to internet connectivity issue.

Agra school principal beats up teacher for coming late to school, video goes viral
The incident has reportedly taken place at a primary school in Seegana village of Agra. A complaint has been lodged at the Sikandra police station regarding the incident.

In the beginning of the video the principal can be seen reprimanding the teacher, Gunja Chaudhary, for arriving late to school, which led to a heated argument between them. Reacting to the incident, the primary school teacher claimed that the principal, too, had been arriving late for the past 4 days. This led to a verbal exchange between the two of them.
As tensions increased, the confrontation turned to physical which can be clearly seen in the video. Both the principal and the teacher were engaged in a heated argument and even resorted to the use of derogatory language and physical violence. Other staff members who were present at the scene tried to separate the two and stop the brawl but it seemed all efforts were in vain.
The physical fight ended with the primary school teacher tearing the principal’s clothes and she retaliated by pulling hair of the school teacher. This incident has resulted in injuries to the school teacher’s eye as well. The incident has led to widespread discussion and concern within different members of the education department. Many X users expressed shock and dismay at the behaviour exhibited both by the school teacher and the principal. According to reports a complaint has been lodged at the Sikandra police station regarding the incident.
The video of the incident has gone viral with 211400 views, 649 retweets and 1600 likes which are only increasing. Large number of X users commented on the viral video where one X user Arkabrata Das said he was glad that the teacher who got beaten was not male, otherwise the reason for beating would have changed.

Physics Wallah founder gets invited as speaker to Harvard, Stanford Universities, post goes viral
In his post Alakh Pandey wrote that he was invited to speak at Harvard University, Stanford University, and University Of California. He said that he motivated the Indian students studying in these premier institutions to return to India to contribute to the country’s growth and development.

In his post, he shared how he asked the Indian students studying in the premier institutions – Harvard University, Stanford University, and the University Of California – to return to their homeland. He urged those Indian students who cannot return should directly or indirectly contribute to India’s progress.
Physics Wallah wrote his caption in Hindi and shared a number of pictures showing him standing at different places. In his post, he wrote that he was invited to speak at Harvard University, Stanford University, and University Of California. Pandey said that he motivated the Indian students studying in these premier institutions to return to India to contribute to the country’s growth and development.
He said he knew that his country has many flaws. But, the youth should work towards making it better. The post was shared 21 hours ago and has gone viral with 306,512 likes till now which are only increasing. Large number of Instagram users and students commented on the viral post. One user Himanshu kumar shared the post and wrote heart emojis. One user Ayush Pandit ji wrote Jai Hind. One user Raunak asked if they should bow down in front of him. He added Alakh Pandey sir is the real king.

Nilkrishna likes watching movies and said they are a great source of enjoyment and relaxation.
He likes to watch a movie after exams and occasionally treats himself to one each week too. Gajare aims to keep up the pace for the JEE-Advanced exam and hopes to get into the IITs. He said he wants to secure admission in IIT-Bombay in the computer science branch.
