Ukraine has entered into day 4 of the military operation announced by Russia. Russia has established full control over Ukraine’s city Melitopol. On Sunday morning, massive explosions rocked south of Kyiv. Nearly 200 people, including soldiers, have died so far in this attack. Meanwhile, US and France are supporting Ukraine by providing weapons and defensive military equipment.

Elon Musk activates Starlink internet service in Ukraine, says more terminals en route
Elon Musk’s other venture, Starlink’s services, is already operational in Ukraine, with additional terminals on the way. he satellites could keep Ukraine online if its internet infrastructure is damaged by Russia’s attacks amid war with Russia. The news comes almost a day after Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation urged the American businessman to begin services in the country to to provide relief to many affected Ukrainians.
Russia ready for talks with Ukraine in Belarus, Ukraine President Zelenskiy rejects the offer
Dmitry Peskov, Russian presidential spokesperson, was quoted by an international news agency saying that Russia has offered talks with Ukraine about the ongoing conflict in Belarus. President Zelenskiy, on the other hand, has turned down the offer, claiming that he cannot have discussions in a country that served as a staging ground for Moscow’s three-day invasion.

The Ukrainian armed forces shot down a winged rocket fired at the capital city Kyiv. Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces confirmed in a statement that the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a winged rocket from the territory of the Republic of Belarus by a TU-22 plane.
Street fighting rages, machine gunfires and explosions heard in Kharkiv
According to an international news agency AFP, machine gun fire and explosions jolted Ukraine’s second city of Kharkiv on Sunday as street battle erupted after Russia’s invading forces stormed into the city. In a counterattack, the debris of a Russian armoured vehicle continued to burn on one street and several others had been abandoned.

Russian forces have entered the second largest city of Ukraine, Kharkiv as Russian troop vehicles were seen on the streets of Ukraine’s northeastern city of Kharkiv on Sunday, Anton Herashchenko, an adviser to Ukraine’s interior minister, wrote on Telegram.
Third Indian evacuation flight from Bucharest to arrive in Delhi at 4 pm
An Air India evacuation flight that took off from Bucharest earlier will land in Delhi at 4 pm today. It is likely to return with Indian evacuees later today. One flight to leave for Bucharest, Romania at 4 PM tentatively, and another flight will leave for Hungary at 7 PM likely.
Missile hits residential building in Vasylkiv, oil depot nearby on fire
Russian armed forces fired a missile that hit the high-rise residential building in Vasylkiv, a town near Ukraine’s capital city Kyiv. Officials shared a photo of the tower with a hole on the side that covered at least five floors and rubble scattered across the streets below. The missile also hit an oil depot which caught fire.

Russian forces blow up gas pipeline in Kharkiv
In the military operation, Russia blew up the gas pipeline in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city. Iryna Venediktova, Ukraine’s top prosecutor, stated Russian soldiers have been unable to capture Kharkiv, where a fierce battle is currently happening. The city has a population of 1.5 million and is located 40 kilometers from the Russian border.
