IPL 2022

The unstoppable MS Dhoni has left no stone unturned to be gloriously remembered in the history of Indian Cricket. The former Indian captain smashed DC bowlers last night and made a special cameo by making 21 runs from just eight balls.

MS Dhoni helped his side to cross the 200-run mark and put a fighting total of 208 runs. During his stay at the crease, the 41 years old hammered two sixes and one four. However, there’s another highlight from the match that grabbed people’s attention. The CSK captain was seeing eating his bat while waiting for his batting turn. MS was sitting in the dough out, all padded up and was captured chewing his bat.

As soon as the picture went viral, tweeple started the guess the reason behind this movie. Where some people said that it could be a superstitious move, others stated it the reason behind MS Dhoni’s fabulous knock outs.

But finally former Indian spinner Amit Mishra came forward and revealed the reason behind this mystery. Mishra took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “In case you’re wondering why Dhoni often ‘eats’ his bat. He does that to remove tape of the bat as he likes his bat to be clean. You won’t see a single piece of tape or thread coming out of MS’s bat. #CSKvDC #TATAIPL2022.”

Tata IPL 2022 did not turn out the way CSK and their supporters expected it to be. However, it seems like the team has got back their winning mojo. During the start of this tournament, Chennai Super Kings was led by the debutant captain Ravindra Jadeja. But seems like captaincy over burdened him, and after several losses, Jadeja left the captaincy to MS Dhoni.

CSK has been performing well ever since, however, the team can not qualify for the play-offs but the team can definitely affect or destroy the chances of other IPL teams for the top four order.
