Chak De India actor Chitrashi Rawat on Saturday tied the knot with her longtime beau Dhruvaditya Bhagwanani. The wedding took place in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur.

Their wedding was graced by various celebrities from the film and television industries, including Vidya Malvade, Delnaaz Irani, Shilpa Shukla, Sayantani Ghosh, Tanya Abrol, and Moonmoon Bannerjee, among others.

The pictures of her wedding are going viral on social media. The couple looked adorable. In one of the videos, the couple is also seen exchanging rings.

Chitrashi Rawat was seen wearing a brown lehenga with a red dupatta whereas Dhruvaditya opted for a cream-shade sherwani with a red turban.

According to the reports, Chitrashi earlier revealed that they had originally wanted to do a court marriage in Dehradun and thought ki simple shaadi karenge, paise bachayenge aur travel karenge (We had thought to do a simple wedding, save money and travel).

She said that their families got involved, and it was all about yeh sab ek hi baar hoti hai (it only happens once). She went on to say that she and Dhruv are not looking at it as a wedding affair, but a celebration of their relationship with their families and closest friends.

For her Mehendi look, the actor was seen wearing twinning with her beau in green and blue shadeds. Chitrashi Rawat’s Chak De India co-stars Shilpa Shukla and Tanya Abrol were also seen celebrating with her.

Batwara 1947 has had a disappointing run at the box office, and actor Shabana Azmi has now shared her thoughts on why the film may not have connected with audiences. According to Azmi, one possible reason could be the difficulty some viewers had in accepting Sunny Deol as a Muslim character.

The film, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, was released on August 14. It has reportedly earned around Rs 53 crore so far, while Awarapan 2, which released on the same day, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.
