Celebrated singer Sonu Nigam marked his 50th birthday on Saturday with a grand party attended by friends and colleagues from the music industry. Among the celebrities seen at the event were Anup Jalota, Mika Singh, Satish Shah, Jackie Shroff, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Sudesh Bhosale, and Rahul Vaidya, among others. Bhushan had also sought help to protect himself from Abu Salem.

Additionally, Sonu had shared a video on YouTube discussing favouritism in the music industry, where a few major music labels wield considerable power. He spoke about the obstacles faced by newcomers due to the influence of these labels and urged everyone, especially music companies, to be kinder. Sonu emphasized that the music industry had a more significant mafia than the film industry and mentioned the unfortunate demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput as an example of the harsh realities faced by artists.
