Madhushala

Madiralaya jane ko ghar se

Chalta hai peene wala

Kis path se jaun?

Asmanjas mein hai who bhola-bhaala

Alag-alag path batlaate sab,

Par main yah batlaata hun-

Raah pakad tu ek chala chal,

Paa jayega madhushala

Ruke Na Tu

Dhanush utha, prahaar kar

Tu sabse pehla vaar kar

Agni si dhadhak-dhadhak

Hiran si sajag-sajag

Singh si dahaad kar

Shankh si pukaar kar

Ruke na tu, thake na tu

Jhuke na tu, thame na tu

Kya Karu Samveda Lekar Tumhari

Main dukhi jab-jab hua

Samvedna tumne dikhai

Main kritagya hua hamesha

Reet dono ne nibhai

Kintu iss abhaar ka ab

Ho chuka hai bojh bhaari

Kya karu samvedna lekar tumhari

Kya karu?

Agneepath

Tu na thakega kabhi,

Tu na thamega kabhi,

Tu na mudega kabhi,

Kar shapath, kar shapath, kar shapath,

Agneepath, agneepath, agneepath

The film marks the Hindi directorial debut of Gopichand Malineni, who is well-known in the Telugu film industry.

The film “Jaat,” starring Sunny Deol, has made a significant impact at the domestic box office, raking in an impressive ₹20.1 crore gross over its first two days of release. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the movie hit theaters on April 10 and garnered ₹11.6 crore on its opening day alone. This strong performance indicates a positive reception from the audience, though the film has received a mix of reviews from critics.

The production company Mythri Movie Makers shared the box office collection figures on their official X account, creating buzz around the film’s success. “Jaat” not only features Sunny Deol but also includes talented actors such as Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Saiyami Kher, contributing to a strong ensemble cast. The film marks the Hindi directorial debut of Gopichand Malineni, who is well-known in the Telugu film industry.

Despite its commercial success, “Jaat” has elicited mixed feedback from viewers and critics alike. A review from The Hindu highlighted some concerns, noting that the current trend in Telugu masala films, particularly in Gopichand’s storytelling, often leans heavily towards style over substance. According to the review, this imbalance can overshadow the narrative depth, leading to a loss of cultural specificity, particularly when Northern and Southern cinematic elements are intertwined.

The review also pointed out the film’s explicit portrayal of violence, mentioning graphic scenes that depict severed heads and manipulative narratives involving crimes against children, women, and the elderly. Such elements can detract from the overall viewing experience, raising questions about the handling of sensitive subjects in cinema.

In addition to his work on “Jaat,” Sunny Deol is currently engaged in another exciting project titled “Lahore 1947,” which also stars Aamir Khan and Preity Zinta. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, this film is highly anticipated.

Randeep Hooda is also busy with another venture, “Matchbox,” which features John Cena and is directed by Sam Hargrave, known for his work on “Extraction” and “Avengers: Endgame.” The future looks bright for both actors as they continue to take on diverse and compelling roles in their careers.

On Saturday, actor Jaaved Jaaferi revealed that his X account had been hacked, taking to Instagram to alert his fans and encourage them to report the security breach to the platform. Jaaferi shared screenshots illustrating his inability to regain access to his account, emphasizing the significance of maintaining security on social media.

In his post, Jaaferi communicated his distress over the situation, revealing that he has been unable to use his profile since the unauthorized access occurred. He recently starred in Avinash Das’ film Inn Galiyon Mein, which has been well-received. Fans can look forward to seeing him in an upcoming project, Dhamaal 4, where he will reprise his role in the popular franchise.

Unfortunately, Jaaferi is not alone in this struggle. In recent weeks, other high-profile personalities have also experienced similar security breaches. Notably, renowned singer Shreya Ghoshal and actress Swara Bhasker have had their X accounts hacked. Thankfully, both of their accounts have been restored following the incidents.

Shreya Ghoshal used her platform to warn her fans about potential scams, stating, “Please avoid clicking on any links or responding to any messages that appear to come from my account; these are all spam and phishing attempts. I will update you personally through a video once my account is secure again.” Her proactive approach highlights the importance of vigilance in the face of these growing threats.

Meanwhile, Swara Bhasker has expressed her frustration regarding the permanent suspension of her X account. She stated, “Two images from two tweets have been cited as ‘copyright infringements.’ As a result, my account is locked, and a permanent suspension has been approved by the teams. There has been no copyright violation on my part; it’s akin to urban modern folk idiom.” Her comments underscore the sometimes arbitrary nature of alleged copyright infringements on social media.

As more celebrities face similar security struggles, the conversation surrounding digital safety and accountability continues to gain importance.

Celebrating a milestone: Oscars to launch Best Stunt Design category for 100th Academy Awards in 2027

Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli, celebrated for RRR, expressed his excitement on social media

In a groundbreaking decision, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed on Friday that it will introduce a new Oscar category, Best Stunt Design, to recognize the artistry of stunt work, beginning with the 100th Academy Awards in 2028 for films released in 2027. This historic step celebrates a craft integral to cinema since its inception, marking a victory for stunt professionals after decades of advocacy.

The announcement follows persistent efforts from industry insiders, spearheaded by director and former stuntman David Leitch—known for The Fall Guy, Bullet Train, and Deadpool 2—and veteran stunt coordinator Chris O’Hara. Their compelling presentations to the Academy’s Board of Governors paved the way for this long-overdue recognition. “Since the early days of cinema, stunt design has been a vital part of filmmaking,” Academy CEO Bill Kramer and President Janet Yang said in a joint statement. “We are proud to honor the innovative work of these technical and creative artists.”

The Academy echoed this sentiment on X, stating, “Stunts have always been part of the magic of movies. Now, they’re part of the Oscars. The Academy has created a new annual award for Achievement in Stunt Design—beginning with the 100th Oscars in 2028, honoring films released in 2027.”

The decision drew enthusiastic responses worldwide. Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli, celebrated for RRR, expressed his excitement on social media: “At last!! After a 100-year wait!!! Ecstatic for the new Oscars stunt design category for films releasing in 2027! Huge thanks to David Leitch, Chris O’Hara, and the stunt community for making this historic recognition possible, and to The Academy, CEO Bill Kramer, and President Janet Yang for honoring the power of stunt work. Thrilled to see #RRRMovie’s action visuals shining in the announcement!”

Leitch reflected on the milestone, saying, “This has been a long journey for so many of us. Chris O’Hara and I have spent years working to bring this moment to life, standing on the shoulders of stunt professionals who’ve fought tirelessly for recognition over the decades.” Similarly, John Wick director Chad Stahelski lauded the Academy’s decision as a nod to the collaborative spirit of stunt teams. “It’s great to see the Academy truly listening to the stunt community,” he told Variety, highlighting the importance of recognizing an entire department rather than a single individual.

Jeff Wolfe, president of the Stuntmen’s Association, hailed it as “a historic moment for our community,” adding, “This validates the passion, innovation, creativity, and hard work behind every fall, fight, and fireball.” The push for recognition gained momentum in recent years, bolstered by films like The Fall Guy and support from actors such as Winston Duke.

Details on the award’s criteria and voting process will be finalized in the 2027 Academy Awards rulebook, with presentation logistics to be determined later. Meanwhile, online reactions have spotlighted legends like Jackie Chan, with fans noting that this category—while a triumph—comes late for icons whose groundbreaking stunts have long defined cinematic excellence. Social media buzz reflects a mix of celebration and bittersweet sentiment, as the Oscars finally catch up to a craft fans have revered for generations.
