Mahindra is ready to launch one of its much-awaited SUV XUV700 in the Indian market on 15th August. The company has already started the countdown for the same on its official website.

The more Mahindra XUV700 launch coming closer, the more details about the car start revealing regularly. According to the latest updates, the upcoming Mahindra SUV will come full of features even on its entry-level variant that might boost the sales of the XUV700 in the upcoming days.

Recently, the SUV has been spotted in red color without camouflage in which the SUV reveals its overall design from outside. The upcoming SUV will have bigger headlights with DRLs, black finish chrome grills with Mahindra batching on it.

Customers can expect a Mercedes Benz-inspired dual screen set up, which includes a digital cluster display and redesigned touch screen music system which is making the car even more premium in the segment.

According to the Mahindra, the SUV will hit the road in full high tech features like an electronic air-conditioning system, basically a FATC unit, dual-tone alloys, panoramic sunroof, which is more like sky roof, high-beam assist, voice command system, Alexa voice assist, multi steering wheels, power window and whatnot.

Engine

The XUV700 will launch with two engine options, which include a 2 litre Turbo Petrol engine and 2.2 litre mHawk Turbo diesel engine. The petrol engine is expected to produce over 200 PS and the diesel engine could deliver over 185 PS. Customers can expect the SUV in 6 speed AT and 6 speed MT gearboxes options.

Safety

The leading car manufacturer Morris Garage (MG) which has marked the top position in the Indian market in just a few years, credit goes to Hector. Now the firm is all set to drop another bomb on all car enthusiasts. With the growing demand for electric vehicles in the country, the firm will unveil its feature-loaded and updated version of the ZS electric vehicle on December 5. Yes, you read it right.

According to the reports and some official information by the firm, it has revealed that the upcoming MG ZS EV will feature a 50.3 kWh battery pack that will provide slightly more range as compared to the ongoing variant. It has been claimed by the firm that the EV will provide a range of 461 km on a single charge. And, it can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 8.5.

As far as power is concerned, the customers can expect 174bhp and 353Nm of peak torque.

Launched at the starting price of Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the ZS EV then and now holds a special space in the Indian auto market. Amid this, it has been expected that the upcoming mid-size SUV after the launch likely to give tough competition to Hyundai’s feature-loaded Kona which was launched in 2019 at the starting price of Rs. 23.84 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Meanwhile, apart from this, the UK-based car manufacturer also planning to drop the facelift version of MG Astor. Ahead of its official, the patent images have been leaked on all the digital platforms, revealing some of its exterior looks.

According to the leaked images, it can be seen that the upcoming vehicle will come with some noticeable changes. The mid-size SUV will have a completely new front fascia. It also features a new grille and headlamp setup, which is making the vehicle more aggressive and appealing.

Hero MotoCorp motorcycles to get expensive from December 1, check details

The leading two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp which has been seeing a rise in sales for the past few years announced that the company will again be going to increase the prices of vehicles. The firm also revealed that the decision will come into power from the start of December.

This is the fourth time the firm has spiked the price of its vehicles. The reports have suggested that this time company is likely to increase prices somewhere around between Rs 1,500 to 3,000.

Reacting to the recent price hike on bikes and scooters, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Hero Mr Niranjan Gupta said that the general inflationary costs have forced the company to increase the for their vehicles. He said to main healthy relations with its customers, the firm is offering creative financing options. In addition to that, he said that implementing accelerated savings programs will enable the company to counteract any future cost impacts and increase margins. Going forward, the economic indicators point to an increase in demand, and we anticipate that industry volumes will increase in the upcoming quarters, Gupta added.

Meanwhile, in order to attract new customers, the company has been trying to enter the EV segment as well. Amid this, Hero MotoCorp Vida opened its first experience in Bengaluru. To gain customers’ trust, the brand also started providing test rides for its V1 electric scooter.

Vida V1 EV is said to compete against the feature-loaded and hot-selling products Ola S1 Pro and Ather 450X and Ola S1 Pro. Talking about its specs, the new electric scooter has been launched with a 3.94 kWh battery, under which it claims to provide a range of 163 km (IDC) on a single charge.

It also has been claimed that the newly launched scooter can reach from 0-40 kmph in 3.2 seconds. As far as the price is concerned, customers can purchase it at the starting price of ₹1.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
