Maruti Suzuki launches Alto K10 in CNG version, know price and specs details

One of the leading car manufacturers Maruti Suzuki which is better known for providing mileage-friendly vehicles finally launched the much-awaited Alto K10 in CNG version in India. Interested customers now have to pay an extra sum of Rs 90,000 4-seater Hatchback.

The company has introduced the four-wheeler in only VXi variant, It is being sold at the starting price of Rs 5.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

Know everything about the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 CNG version

The newly launched Alto’s CNG version features a similar engine as S Presso CNG and Celerio CN. It comes with the 1.0-litre K10C engine, paired it with the 5-speed manual gearboxFea transmission. Talking about the power, the company reported that it will churn out 65hp and 89Nm of torque in petrol. When switched on to CNG mode, it will generate 57hp and 82Nm, which is lessers as compared to the fuel mode.

The company claims that the vehicle will provide a mileage of 33.85km/kg on gas, which is 1.12km/kg higher than the S Presso CNG, but 1.75km/kg lower than the Celerio CNG. The firm also claimed that the vehicle has been designed in such a way that it will provide quality drive, comfort and safety to the customers.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 CNG version features, interior and exterior

The company did not change anything when it comes to interior and exterior. The carmakers retained the same design as its ongoing petrol version. However, the boot space has been compromised due to the gas cylinder.

Some of the features also have been carried forward in the CNG version such as a 2-Din SmartPlay audio system with, AUX, USB port and Bluetooth support. It also will have a speed-sensing auto door lock, seat belt reminder, gear shift indicator, and semi-digital infotainment clusters.

As far as the safety features are concerned, it has dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and speed alert.

Recently listed on the brand’s official website, the Tuono 457’s addition hints that its release is imminent. The bike, which made a striking debut at the EICMA 2024 motorcycle show, has garnered attention for its unique design and competitive pricing, potentially making it more affordable than its sibling, the RS 457.

Tuono 457’s competitive edge

Upon its launch, the Aprilia Tuono 457 is expected to take on the likes of popular streetfighters in the 400cc segment, including the Yamaha MT-03 and KTM Duke 390. Given that the bike is already visible on Aprilia’s website, it’s likely to hit showrooms sooner rather than later.

Design and styling

The Tuono 457 draws design inspiration from its bigger sibling, the Tuono 660. The bike features a bold, muscular fuel tank that extends downward, giving the Tuono 457 an aggressive and sporty stance. The front of the bike is highlighted by a distinctive set of LED DRLs, which adds to its dynamic appearance.

The bike’s suspension setup includes USD forks at the front and a mono-shock rear, while the exposed trellis frame contributes to the overall sharp look. This combination of elements makes the Tuono 457 a striking contender in the naked bike category.

Striking design and features

The Hyundai Creta Electric stands out with its pixelated design elements that include a distinctive front grille with an integrated charging port, a unique pixelated lower bumper, and a redesigned rear bumper.
