JEE Mains 2023 first shift is over. The exam was divided into two sections- Section A and Section B, this year. Here are the detailed paper analysis and students’ reactions to JEE Mains 2023 exam.
JEE Mains 2023 Difficulty level
Those who appeared for the JEE Mains 2023 exam stated that overall the paper was easy.
JEE Mains 2023 Paper pattern
- There were two sections in JEE Main 2023 Paper 1 for BE/BTech engineering courses.
- The JEE Main 2023 Paper 1 Section A was divided into three parts: Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics, with 20 questions in each section. There were a total of 60 questions in Section A.
- Section B was worth 30 marks, and that included 10 questions from each subject (Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics).

JEE Mains 2023 exam guidelines for second shift
- The JEE Mains 2023 admission card, the self-declaration form, a valid picture ID in original form, and a ballpoint pen must be carried by candidates.
- Candidates who are taking the JEE Main 2023 BE, BTech exam today must report at the exam centre by 1 pm for the shift beginning at 3 pm.
- There is no prescribed dress for JEE Main. However, candidates who are wearing jewellery, scarves, or shirts with large buttons will not be permitted to enter the JEE Main exam hall.
Things not permitted inside JEE Mains 2023 examination hall
Candidates are now allowed to carry instruments such as: Geometry or pencil box, handbag, purse, any kind of paper or stationery or textual material (printed or written material), eatables and water (loose or packed), mobile phone/earphone/microphone/pager, calculator, docupen, slide rules, log tables, camera, tape recorder, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/devices in the examination hall/room.

NEET PG 2023: Candidates can edit their applications from today, know what and how changes can be made
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences opened the NEET PG 2023 application correction window on Monday. Applicants who want to edit their application for National Eligibility Entrance Test for Post Graduate 2023 can now change their online form.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences opened the NEET PG 2023 application correction window on Monday. Applicants who want to edit their application for National Eligibility Entrance Test for Post Graduate 2023 can now change their online form.
The application correction window will get shut on February 3 at 11:55 pm.
NEET PG 2023: What changes can be made?
- It should be noted that no new application or examination fee payment can be processed during the correction edit window. However, in case of a change in candidate category and/or PwD status can be paid during the given time.
- Candidates will be able to change editable information/images/documents as many times as they want, however, they can change it after finally clicking on the ‘Submit’ button.
- Information like the candidate’s name, test city, nationality, mobile number, and email ID can not be changed.
- Changes made in payment-dependent fields like category and/or PwD status need an additional payment of Rs 1000. If someone how transaction fails during the payment or the payment of the balance fee required is not made due to some reason, changes made in all the fields should be updated except the payment-dependent fields.

NEET PG 2023: How to edit the application form?
- Step 1: Go to the official website, nbe.edu.in
- Step 2: Click on NEET-PG
- Step 3: Click on the Application Link
- Step 4: Login using your User ID and Password
- Step 5: Your NEET PG application form will appear on the screen to edit
- Step 6: Be careful while making changes in the application form
- Step 7: Submit the changes
- Step 6: Download the page
NEET PG 2023 exam is slated for March 5, 2023. As per the official notification released by the board, the results of the same will be announced on March 31, 2023.

JEE Main shift 1 paper analysis: Mathematics moderately tough, chemistry, physics easy
There was a total of 90 questions, divided into three parts and two sections. The total mark of JEE Main Paper-1 was 300.

The National Testing Agency on Monday conducted the JEE Main January 30 shift 1 exam for those aspiring for B.E./B. Tech. As per the students’ analysis, the difficulty level of the JEE Main 2023 was moderate. It was a balanced paper, said one of the candidates.
There were a total of 90 questions, divided into three parts and two sections. The total mark of JEE Main Paper-1 was 300.
JEE Main 2023 Paper 1 Analysis Shift 1: Mathematics
- The mathematics paper was moderately tough. The weightage was given to chapters of Algebra and Calculus.
- Questions asked from Parabola, Complex numbers, Ellipse, Area, Differential Equations, Definite Integrals, Matrices, Probability, Determinants, Vectors, Permutation & Combination, 3D Geometry, Binomial Theorem, and Progression Series.
Both MCQs and Numerical Based questions required lengthy calculations. This section was Lengthy and Tricky according to a few students.

JEE Main 2023 Paper 1 Analysis Shift 1: Physics
- The physics paper was easy to moderate.
- The weightage was given to chapters of Kinematics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Ray Optics, Work Power and Energy, Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Modern Physics, AC Circuits, Communication Systems, and Capacitors.
As per the students, numerical-based questions were reported as easy and this section was balanced overall.
JEE Main 2023 Paper 1 Analysis Shift 1: Chemistry
- The chemistry paper was easy. Questions asked from Environmental Chemistry, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Polymers, Biomolecules, Hydrocarbons, Ethers & Phenols, Aryl and Alkyl halides, Chemical Equilibrium, Atomic Structure, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics.
- Inorganic Chemistry was given more weightage as compared to Organic Chemistry.
In the numerical section, Physical Chemistry was given more weightage as compared to Organic and Inorganic Chemistry.

India Post has started the recruitment process and is inviting online applications from candidates who are eligible for posts like Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and others.
