Malayalam actor Arya Parvathi’s mother delivers baby girl at 47
She further revealed that her parents did not share the news because they did not know how the actress would react and they felt she might feel ashamed.

A real-life Badhaai Ho scene happened with Malayalam actor Arya Parvathi. The 23-year-old actor took to Instagram and shared that her mother, 47, delivered a healthy baby girl.
Parvathi, who rose to fame with her show Chembattu, joyfully announced that she is ready to step into the shoes of a big sister and a mother. She wrote, Overwhelmed with joy as her little sibling arrives in their family after 23 years. Ready to take on the role of a big sister as well as a mother and shower them with love and support. Come soon, little one!
While giving an interview to Humans of Bombay, Parvathi said she was surprised to find out about her mother’s unexpected pregnancy. The actor also recalled that her parents hid the pregnancy news from her thinking she would be ashamed of them. She shared that the family also faced taunts, but they did not pay any attention to it.
Recalling when she learned about her mother’s pregnancy, she said one phone call changed her life. She said last year, a few days before she was supposed to return home for her vacation, she got a call from her father. He seemed restless. A few minutes later, he told her that her mother is pregnant.
She said she didn’t know how to react at the time and it’s also because it’s not something 23-year-olds hear their parents say. She said she was shocked, which is an understatement.
Parvati further said that her mother was 47 years old and she knew it would sound strange but when her father told her about it, her mother was already in her eighth month. In fact, her mother herself found out when she was 7 months in.
She further revealed that her parents did not share the news because they did not know how the actress would react and they felt she might feel ashamed. However, she said she is extremely excited to have a new sibling to love and care for.
Arya Parvathi rose to fame for her role in Chembattu. She was last seen in Ilayaval Gayathri.
