Upasana Singh, who is known for her work on The Kapil Sharma Show, has filed a lawsuit against Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu in Chandigarh court over breach of contract.

Film producer Upasana Singh sued Miss Universe 2021 for not honoring a contract signed by her. Upasana alleged that Harnaaz, who is playing a lead role in Upasana’s film Bai Ji Kuttange, was supposed to give 25 days for the promotion of her Punjabi film but she has not been replying to her messages and emails. Upasana has sought compensation from Harnaaz for the damages caused for the breach of contract.

Upasana said that she gave Harnaaz an opportunity in her film before she won the title of Miss Universe in 2021.

The Dill Mill Gayye actor said Bai Ji Kuttange is not a small-budget film and she had spent an enormous sum on her upcoming film. Upasana claimed that the film was initially postponed because Harnaaz could not promote it and now that it is set to premiere on August 19, the Miss Universe is again unavailable.

Upasana said Harnaaz is not giving dates for the promotions of her film, Bai Ji Kuttange, despite signing the agreement which assures that she is both available in person and in virtual with Santosh Entertainment Studio LLP.

Upasana said apart from Bai Ji Kuttange, she also gave Harnaaz an opportunity in her film Yaara Diyan Poo Baran.

Harnaaz has not released any official statement regarding this yet. Directed by Smeep Kang, Bai Ji Kuttange also stars Dev Kharoud and Gurpreet Ghuggi.

For the unversed, Harnaaz Sandhu created history by winning the title of Miss Universe in 2021. She brought back the Miss Universe title to India after 21 years. The title was previously held by Lara Dutta Bhupathi in 2000 and Sushmita Sen in 1994.

Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon offered thanks to her fans, as she turned into the most recent Indian superstar to cross 50 million followers on Instagram. Taking to her social media profile, the Mimi actor dropped a reel video which she subtitled as, “Fan following hai meri yahan par haan! 50 MILLION Love and counting. Love you guys!!”

Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon has 50 Million followers on Instagram followed by 14 million on Facebook and 6.8 million followers on Twitter. But her fan following does not stop there, Kriti has a huge fan base on and off social media too.

And now she has also accomplished one more accomplishment as Kriti Sanon at long last has raised a ruckus around B town with 50 million followers on Instagram, making her space among celebs like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and the global star Priyanka Chopra.

On the work front, Kriti Sanon was last seen in Bacchan Pandey opposite Akshay Kumar. Arshad Warsi also played a pivotal role in the film. However, the movie neither had a good box office run nor was successful in impressing the critics. But still the loud and out performance of Kriti Sanon in Netflix’s Mimi is still good enough for the audience to over shadow Bacchan Pandey’s poor script and direction.

On the work front, Kriti Sanon is currently shooting for Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada featuring Kartik Aaryan. The movie is a Hindi remake of remake of Allu Arjun’s hit Telugu action-drama Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The movie is being produced by Bhushan Kumar.

Apart from Shehzada, Kriti has also shooting for Bhediya, an upcoming comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik, featuring Varun Dhawan. The movie is being produced by Dinesh Vijan and this movie will also mark the third installment in Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe.
