The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) said that all the private schools, colleges, universities and educational institutions will remain closed until the next order of Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM).

The order for closing private schools, colleges, universities and educational institutions was issued late Tuesday night on November 16, 2021, for the National Capital Region until further orders are issued. Although, the Commission for Air Quality Management has allowed for the online mode of education till the closure.

This step can be a helpful measure in order to prevent air pollution in the National Capital Region. The Commission for Air Quality Management was instructed by the Supreme Court to hold a joint meeting regarding the high levels of air pollutions in Delhi.

The proceedings will be held and heard by today, November 17, 2021, in the Supreme Court.

What is the Air Quality Index in Delhi?

In Delhi, the Air Quality Index (AQI) is very acute right now. After remaining in the very poor category till Tuesday on November 16, 2021, in the morning, when the AQI was recorded at 396, Delhi’s air quality returned to the severe category with a 24-hour average AQI of 403.

  3. Greater Noida air quality index was 361
  4. Ghaziabad air quality index was 356

The air quality index of the respective cities was observed at 4 pm on November 16, 2021.

Therefore, the government of Delhi NCR has given orders to work from home (WFH). Till Sunday, the people are allowed to work from home and also encouraged the private companies to follow the instructions.

Due to the rise in the levels of pollution, the Central Government has told the Supreme Court of India to advise the employees to resort to carpooling to reduce the air pollution by reducing the number of vehicles used by them for travelling.

The Commission for Air Quality Management also stated that only five of the 11 thermal power plants within a 300-kilometre radius of Delhi – NTPC Jhajjar, Mahatma Gandhi TPS, CLP Jhajjar, Panipat TPS, HPGCL, Nabha Power Ltd. TPS, Rajpura, and Talwandi Sabo TPS, Mansa – will be operational until November 30.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for the CUET UG 2025 application forms, allowing registered candidates to make final edits to their submitted forms. The correction facility is available from March 26 to March 28, 2025, and candidates can make the changes by 11:50 pm on the final day through the official NTA website.

This is the last opportunity for candidates to rectify errors in their application forms before the exam, which is scheduled to be held between May 8 and June 1, 2025 in computer-based mode.

CUET UG 2025: Key exam highlights

Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)

Languages: Available in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Assamese, and Odia

Admit cards: To be issued later for the selected course(s)

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially released the Class 12 or Intermediate results for 2025, showcasing a strong performance from students across Science, Arts, and Commerce streams. The overall pass percentage stood at 86.56%, marking a slight decline from last year’s 87.21%.

Science stream toppers 2025

In the Science stream, Priya Jaiswal secured the top position with 484 marks (96.8%). She was followed by Akash Kumar with 480 marks (96%), while Ravi Kumar stood third with 478 marks (95.6%).

Arts stream toppers 2025

The Arts stream saw a tie for the top spot. Both Ankita Kumari and Shakib Shah shared Rank 1 with 473 marks (94.6%). Anushka Kumari clinched Rank 2 with 471 marks (94.2%).

Commerce stream toppers 2025

In the Commerce stream, Raushani Kumari led the rankings with 475 marks (95%). Antra Khushi secured Rank 2 with 473 marks (94.6%), followed by Shrishti Kumari at Rank 3 with 471 marks (94.2%).

Stream-wise pass percentage

  • Commerce: 94.77%
  • Science: 89.50%
  • Arts: 82.75%

Despite a marginal dip in the overall pass rate, students across all streams showcased commendable academic performance.

  3. Enter your roll number and roll code.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is expected to announce the Class 12 board exam results for 2025 soon. Students who appeared for the intermediate examination will be able to check their scorecards at the official websites — bsebinter.org and results.biharboardonline.com — once the results are declared.

This year, nearly 12,92,313 students registered for the Class 12 exams, which were conducted at 1,677 centres across Bihar. Among them, 6,41,847 were girls and 6,50,466 were boys.

The result date is yet to be officially confirmed, but the board is expected to hold a press conference to announce the results, passing percentages, toppers’ list, and details on re-evaluation and supplementary exams.

To successfully pass the BSEB Class 12 exam, students must score a minimum of 33% in the theory subjects and 40% in the practical component.

Students will be able to access their results using their roll number and date of birth through the BSEB login portal once the link is activated.
