Anil Kapoor’s film AK vs AK stirs controversy, IAF asks Netflix to withdraw scenes for inappropriate language, uniform
Kapoor recently released a one-minute long teaser of his soon-to-be released Netflix movie on Twitter. In the video clip, Kapoor and Kashyap are seen engaged in a war of words as the veteran actor uses foul language and abuses the filmmaker.
Ahead of the release, Bollywood movie AK vs AK starring Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap has landed in controversy as Indian Air Force on Wednesday objected to a scene where Kapoor’s character wears the uniform of an Air Force officer. The officials have demanded the withdrawal of the objectionable scene.
Kapoor recently released a one-minute long teaser of his soon-to-be released Netflix movie on Twitter. In the video clip, Kapoor and Kashyap are seen engaged in a war of words as the veteran actor uses foul language and abuses the filmmaker.
Reacting to it, the Indian Air force in the tweet said that the IAF uniform in this video is inaccurately donned and the language used is inappropriate.The scene does not conform to the behavioural norms of those in the Armed Forces of India, and asked the makers to withdraw the related scene. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and Netflix India were also tagged in the tweet.
Earlier in August, the IAF had objected to the Netflix movie Gunjan Saxena : The Kargil Girl for its undue negative portrayal of the Air Force officers in the movie. The movie featured Jahnvi Kapoor in the lead role. The IAF had written to the Central Board of Film Certification, which was also sent to Netflix and film’s production house Dharma Productions.
Meanwhile, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, AK vs AK narrates the story of a brash filmmaker played by Kashyap, who abducts the daughter of a popular Bollywood actor played by Kapoor. The film captures the actor’s desperate search for his daughter in real-time to showcase it as his next blockbuster.

Basically Kapoor and Kashyap play exaggerated versions of themselves in this film, according to Netflix. The film pits them against each other, and focuses on settling the age-old debate of who runs cinema, artist or director. Recently, the two also indulged in a much publicised Twitter war on Sunday to promote their movie. The film will be released on December 24 on Netflix.

To commemorate the success of the film, SRK and the entire Jawan team arranged a success meeting. During this event, King Khan confirmed that Dunki would hit the theatre his Christmas.
Addressing the crowd, SRK said he themed his films on national holidays, such as Republic Day with Pathaan and Janmashtami with Jawan. He will now spend Christmas and New Year’s with Dunki.

Apart from this, the Bollywood megastar Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will come together after a long time for a film, apart from Salman’s cameo in SRK starrer Pathaan. The duo will kick off the YRF’s spy universe film shooting in March 2024, as per the reports.
According to a report, the film’s script has been finalized and shooting is set to begin in March of next year.
As per reports, the script for Tiger Vs Pathaan was narrated separately to Shah Rukh Khan and Salman by Aditya Chopra in different meetings.

According to reports, the actor slipped while he was working in the kitchen and got injured. He was taken to hospital where he lost his life.
The 67-year-old actor is survived by his wife Suzanne Bernert, also an actor. The incident took place in Hyderabad, Telangana where he was shooting for an upcoming project.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee had extended his condolence on the death of veteran actor Akhil Mishra. He said the incident was unbelievably shocking.
Akhil was married to a German actor Suzanne Bernert in February 2009. Later in 2011, they got married as per the traditional rituals.
Akhil has worked in several movies like Gandhi, My Father, Don, Shikhar, Kamla Ki Maut, and Well Done Abba. He got his popularity as a librarian Dubey in 3 Idiots movie, starring Amir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani, and Omi Vaidya among others.
The veteran actor was also seen in famous TV shows like CID, Udaan, Hatim and Uttaran among others.
Suzanne Bernert has also worked in several Television shows such as Porus, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Savdhaan India, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
Earlier, Akhil Mishra and his wife Suzanne worked together in the movie Kram. They have worked in TV Shows together like Dewaana, a Doordarshan serial.
They worked in a short film named Manju Ki Juliet as well in 2019.
His last rites were held on September 21 at 3:30 pm at Indralok near Golden Nest. Suzanne had made all the arrangements and preparations for the cremation. She said that her heart was broken and her second half had gone forever.
