A video is doing round on the internet where the Lucknow police can be seen misbehaving with an elderly man who wanted to sit on Dharna in front of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s office. The incident happened on Friday at gate number 3 of Lok Bhavan in the state capital.

Reports said that the elderly man wanted to meet CM Yogi Adityanath with his complaint.

Sharing a video of this incident on Twitter, a local journalist wrote that the elderly man had come to meet the Chief Minister with his complaint, but he was not allowed. The police misbehaved with him. They forcibly put him in a police car. The incident happened at gate number 3 of Lok Bhavan in Lucknow.

After the incident, social media users started criticizing CM Yogi Adityanath. One Gaurav J Srivastava wrote on Twitter that there were other ways to handle this situation. This was not the right way.

Another user wrote on Twitter that government officials should always keep in mind that people went to the CM office for resolving their problems. They didn’t go for just clicking photos. In such a situation, there was no meaning of justice in a democratic system. People have no option for their problems.

In April 2018, a Lucknow resident Aayush Singhal claimed that he was pushed away by UP CM Yogi Adityanath at a Janata Darbar in Gorakhpur. He said that Nautanwa MLA Amanmani Tripathi captured his lands. He went to meet CM and gave him a paper. When he started briefing him, the CM threw the papers and said no action would be taken.

In April this year, the UP CM revived his Janata Darbar at his official residence in Lucknow. He claimed that it would enable the common man to approach him directly with their grievances.

Telugu actor Taraka Ratna faints during TDP leader Nara Lokesh's padayatra in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor

Telugu actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna fell unconscious on Friday during the padayatra of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) general secretary Nara Lokesh in Kuppam in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.

He was immediately rushed to the hospital in Kuppam after he fainted during the Padayatra. He was later shifted to the multispeciality hospital in Bengaluru for better treatment.

Reportedly, Taraka Ratna had no pulse, and his body turned blue when he was brought to the hospital. As per the latest reports, his pulse has returned after 45 minutes of treatment. Doctors state that the actor is currently receiving medical treatment.

The incident happened when there was a stampede-like situation outside a mosque that Lokesh visited shortly after launching his 4,000-kilometer padayatra. The actor-turned-politician Ratna was also a part of the padayatra.

According to the reports, ex-CM Nara Chandra Babu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh launched a padayatra in Kuppam on Friday, and he was accompanied by several political leaders. Ratna also accompanied Lokesh in the padayatra.

Lokesh performed a special puja at Lakshmipuram Sri Varadaraja Swamy Temple before launching padayatra and then went to the mosque where he was joined by Ratna after a brief walk. It seems that Taraka Ratna fainted while leaving the mosque, probably from suffocation from overcrowding.

Taraka Ratna is the grandson of TDP founder, legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao. He is the cousin of Junior NTR, Kalyan Ram and Lokesh.

Meanwhile, the padayatra will conclude at Ichapuram in the Srikakulam district after over 400 days. Andhra Pradesh is looking forward to the assembly election in the state which will be held in June 2024.

Taraka Ratna, who made his film debut in 2002 and has acted in about a dozen movies and web series, is reportedly keen to contest next year’s Assembly elections. On the professional front, he was last seen in the S5-No Exit film.
