Rum Payasam:

What are the ingredients required for Rum Payasam?

1 litre of cow milk

2 tablespoon fine rice

1 cup of sugar

¼ cup of chilled rum

How to make Rum Payasam?

1.In a thick-bottomed saucepan, boil the rice in milk until it has reduced to half of its original volume.

2. Now add sugar, keep stirring it and then let it simmer for at least 10 minutes.

3. Lastly, refrigerate and mix in the chilled rum just before serving.

Pineapple and Moong Dal Galettes

What are the ingredients required for Pineapple and Moong Dal Galettes?

150 gm moong dal

80 gm pineapple

30 gm gram flour

10 gm green chillies

5 gm coriander leaves

3 gm cumin seeds

30 gm onions

10 gm ginger

5 gm curry leaves

30 ml ghee

Salt according to taste

How to make Pineapple and Moong Dal Galettes?

1.Soak the moong dal overnight

2.Drain the excess water and grind in a mixer till a coarse paste

3.Chop pineapple into small cubes after peeling it.

4. Then chop onions, ginger, green chillies, curry leaves and coriander leaves very finely

5.Take the gram flour and bind all the ingredients together.

5.On the griddle, put some ghee, make flat roundels and cook them.

6. Serve it with mint chutney and choice of your salad.

Gulab Jamun Panna Cotta

What are the ingredients required for Gulab Jamun Panna Cotta?

3 ready-made gulab jamuns

2 cups of full cream milk

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

2 teaspoon agar-agar ( vegetarian gelatin)

How to make Gulab Jamun Panna Cotta?

1.Heat milk in a pan.

2.After removing from flame, add agar-agar and whisk thoroughly

3.On medium flame heat this milk agar-agar mixture until it fumes

4.Then, add powdered sugar and stir till it dissolves

5.Add vanilla essence after removing from flame

6.Give it a good whisk

7.Cool down the milk for 15 mins

8.Pour the milk mixture into 6 glass bowls

9. Cut a gulab jamun in half and set each half in the centre of the panna cotta with the convex side up.

10. Refrigerate this for 4 hours till it completely sets

11.Finally garnish it with cinnamon shards or edible flowers

Coconut Laddu

What are the ingredients required for Coconut Laddu?

2 cups fined Coconut

Sugar

Milk

Coconut powder

How to make Coconut Laddu?

1.Add 2 cups of coconut, ¾ sugar and 1 cup of milk in a pan

2.Mix all the ingredients and put it aside for 15 minutes.

3.Start cooking this and keep stirring to prevent sticking.

4.Cook till all the moisture evaporates and turns thick

5.Add cardamom powder and stir well and set aside to cool it down

6.After cooling, make small balls with the help of palm and roll it in dry coconut powder if desired
