Happy Friendship Day 2022: Things to do to strengthen friendship, to become good friend

One of the most priceless blessings that God has given us is a friend. Without them, managing stress in difficult times may be extremely difficult. This day is commemorated so that we don’t forget their significance in our lives. We have listed things to strengthen your friendship.

Your relationship with parents and family get entwined with birth. But friendship is such a relationship, which people make with themselves for the first time. This is a relationship based on your feelings. In childhood, a child connects with another child with his heart and goes to play with him. Both of them like each other’s company, so they start playing with each other every day. That is friendship.

The same sentiment is seen among people even when they grow up. From home and neighbourhood to school-college and office, you can get the support of a good friend. You share your heart with a friend. Believe in him, and share your dreams and secrets. A friend also encourages you and gives advice on doing wrong. If you also have such a friend, then 30th July is the day to celebrate this friendship.

Things to do to strengthen friendship

Be loyal

Avoid becoming one of those buddies who say one thing to their friends and then act the exact opposite. You must have encountered people of this nature in your life who, while professing their sorrow for your troubles, mock them behind your back. These are not dependable pals. Always be honest and trustworthy to your friends.

Support your friend

Isn’t it a bad feeling when you need a friend but they are unavailable? A true buddy will always be there for you and never give up easily. Be there for your other friends too at times. Your friend doesn’t make fun of you, rather they support you and strive to become good at times when needed.

Give your time

To check on your friends, you need to carve out some time from your hectic schedule. Most of the time, when people don’t offer one other a bit of their time, friendships break.

Be a good listener

The friendship is forged even further when you truly comprehend and listen to each other. Be a good listener if you want a friendship that will stay.

Respect each other boundaries

Respect your friend’s boundaries and private space without being intrusive. Even if you might not agree with them, try to understand why they are acting the way they are. Learn to respect your friend’s decisions.
