Apart from SP Maurya and Dara Singh Chauhan, 5 BJP MLAs – Roshan Lal Verma, Brijesh Prajapati, Mukesh Verma, Vinay Shakya, and Bhagwati Sagar – also joined the Samajwadi Party on Friday. Chaudhary Amar Singh of the Apna Dal, a BJP ally also left its party and joined the Samajwadi Party.
