Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have casted their vote in the ongoing Gujarat Assembly elections.
After exercising his franchise, CM Patel said that the Bharatiya Janata Party would break all its previous records in the state and will definitely win these elections.
Speaking to the media persons here after casting his ballot, Patel said that the second round of voting in Gujarat is currently taking place, and everyone is taking part peacefully. The BJP will win this election and will shatter all of its previous records.

Amit Shah appeals to first-timer voters
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also voted in the second round of the Gujarat Assembly elections on Monday and encouraged everyone to cast a ballot, especially first-timers.
Shah cast his ballot at the AMC Sub-Zonal Office in Naranpura of Ahmedabad alongside members of his family, including his son BCCI Secretary Jay Shah.
After casting their ballots, Amit Shah and his family made a visit to a temple in Ahmedabad to pray.
In a statement to the media, Shah said that he appeals everyone to cast vote, especially the first-time voters – the young ladies and boys to exercise their franchise.
In 93 seats spread over 14 districts in the state of Gujarat, voting is now taking place for the second phase of the assembly elections.
In the second round of the Gujarat elections, 833 candidates representing 61 parties are running for office. More than 2.51 crore voters will decide who wins or loses.
Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Patan, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravali, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Anand, Kheda, and Chhota Udaipur districts are home to the 93 seats that turned to the polls in the second round.
The outcome of the election for Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will depend on the results in Ghatlodia, Viramgam, where Patidar leader Hardik Patel is running as a BJP candidate, and Gandhinagar South, where the saffron party has put Alpesh Thakor on the ballot.
