Hardik Patel

Hardik Patel, who resigned from the Congress party earlier this month owing to the differences has now commented on the buzz of joining some other party. Recently, he made it clear that he won’t be joining Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that he is not joining BJP today and will let people know if something like this happens.

He also led an attack on the Bhagwant Mann led government in Punjab and said that the state has realised with a very sad incident today how deadly it is for any government to go into chaotic hands. The brutal murder of an international kabaddi player a few days ago, and a famous young artist Sidhu Moosawale today is raising important questions.

Patel further said that the Chief Minister of Punjab and the people running the Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab government from Delhi will have to think whether they want to become another party like the Congress to give pain to Punjab or really do something for the people.

Notably, there has been the buzz about Hardik Patel joining the BJP because, in the past few months, he has been hailing the BJP on several issues, including the construction of the Ram temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya and the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Other than this, he has been critical of Congress and this has led to speculation that his closeness with BJP is increasing.

Earlier, a week ago, Patel told India Today that his wife and her family are happy with his decision to resign from Congress. They have been associated with the BJP’s ideology for years. When he joined Congress, his wife’s family often questioned his decision. In fact, when his father was alive, he used to say that he had joined the wrong party. Now, everyone in his family is happy.
