Denying the BJP’s liquor mafia middleman allegations, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s daughter and MLC K Kavitha today said that it was completely baseless. She said that they have all agencies in their hands. They could do whatever investigation was required.
She said that they would cooperate in any investigation on this matter.
Reacting to the allegations, K Kavita said that she will file a defamation suit against Pravesh Verma and Majinder Sirsa for these false allegations. She would also move the court seeking an injunction order against those making the false allegations.
She accused that the BJP was rattled by the criticism from her father KCR. He has been very vocal and sharp in criticizing the policies of the Modi government, and thus they were trying to malign the reputation of her family.

BJP leader Pravesh Verma today accused that K Kavitha was the middleman between the liquor mafia and the Aam Aadmi Party government in the Delhi excise policy.
He accused that K Kavitha and his family members were present at the discussion on its creation in the Oberoi hotel Delhi.
He accused that Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia met liquor mafia and KCR family. The deal was struck in the Oberoi hotel of Delhi where a suite was booked. A bribe of crores of rupees was given to Manish Sisodia to increase the commission from 2.5 per cent to 12 per cent under the new liquor policy and the first installment of the same was given to him. BJP further alleged Rs 150 crore was given to Manish Sisodia.
Accusing of castes’ politics, he said that they didn’t do caste-religion politics and now go to jail for theft then start playing caste card, the descendants of Maharana Pratap ji didn’t do business of selling liquor and corruption, they had ended the anti-national forces and you all shoulder to shoulder with the anti-national forces Believes in walking shoulder to shoulder.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) yesterday issued a lookout notice against Manish Sisodia and 12 others in the Delhi excise policy corruption case. They were also restricted from traveling abroad.
Denying the allegation of corruption in the excise policy, he said that the BJP was not worried about any excise fraud, it was worried about Arvind Kejriwal because they saw him as the main challenger to Prime Minister Modi in the upcoming general election.
