US President Joe Biden, after convening an emergency meeting with NATO allies stated that it was unlikely for the missile to have been fired from Russia into Poland. The US president addressed an emergency meeting with its allies after a Russia-made missile hit NATO allied-Poland on Tuesday which led to 2 deaths.
The meeting was held on the final day of the G20 meet to figure out what exactly happened after Poland alleged the strike to be from Russia.
The missile strike inside the border of Poland came after Russia unleashed an attack on Ukrain’s energy facilities, however, one of the missiles led to an explosion at a grain facility at a village in Poland’s Przewadow which was about 6 km away from Ukraine.
The Russian authorities, however, has stepped away from taking responsibility for the missile attack even tho the Poland foreign minister stated that the missile was a Russian-made missile.

After the misile attack, USA president held an emergency meeting with the NATO allies and stated that USA and NATO allies agreed to support Poland’s investigations into the explosion in rural Poland near the Ukrainian border and further added that the allied nation will get to the bottom of it and figure out exactly what happened.
Bidden, after being asked if the missile was fired from Russia, retorted by saying that there is premilinary information challenges the claims, he further added that he doesn’t want to say anything until the investigation is completed and expanded on the trajectory of the missile and stated that it was unlikely that the missile was fired from Russia.
Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said Kyiv had raised concerns about the Russian misiles posing danger to the neigbouring countries and had also called for a no-fly zone to be imposed.
Russia’s response on allegation
Russia’s defense ministry denied the involvement of Russia in the Polish hit territory and termed such reports to be a deliberate attempt of provocation aimed at escalating tensions.
Ukraine’s take on Poland mishap
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, who has been in a state of war with Vladamir Putin’s Russia also added his take on the misiles hitting Poland is a sign of significant escalation and further added that all of Europe and the world should be protect from Russia as he called the Russian Nation a terrorist nation.
India call for ceasefire
India at the G20 meet reiterated the nation’s call for ceasefire and promoted diplomacy in Ukraine. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also urged the Group of 20 leaders to show concrete and collective resolve in the issue so that peace can be established.
