IPL 2022: Mohammed Siraj, Josh Hazlewood concede 100 runs together in 6 overs, fans troll RCB bowling, say will trust Siraj in wheelchair over Hazlewood at death

It was a tough day for RCB pacers Mohammad Siraj, who has been poor throughout IPL 2022 and Josh Hazlewood, who has been impressive in IPL 2022.

It was an off-day for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacers Mohammed Siraj and Josh Hazlewood as they conceded 100 runs in their six overs against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Friday at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium.

However, Hazlewood has been impressive all season Siraj has been poor throughout IPL 2022. Although Harshal Patel (4/34) was impressive at the death.

After conceding 36 runs in his 2 overs, Siraj was not called again for bowling by the RCB captain Faf du Plessis.

Fans were not going to keep calm and started trolling RCB bowling, especially Siraj and Hazlewood for conceding tons of runs in their 6 overs.

Mohammad Siraj would learn from Josh Hazlewood and be more economical. JoshHazlewood bowls the most expensive spell of IPL2022 (4 overs, 64 hours), a user tweeted.

Tweeple also criticized RCB team management for retaining Siraj instead of Yuzvendra Chahal who is second in the race for the purple cap in IPL 2022.

Siraj was retained by RCB for a whopping Rs 7 crore but he has failed to meet the expectations of RCB fans.

The main damage was done by Punjab batter Jonny Bairstow and Liam Livingstone who smashed half-centuries. Bairstow smashed 60 off just 29 balls while Livingstone scored 70 off 42 balls. After being asked to bat first, they played a huge role in taking PBKS to a mammoth total of 209/9 in their 20 overs.

RCB’s hopes of qualifying for the playoffs received a big setback after their 54-run loss to Punjab Kings. However, the franchise remains on 14 points with just one match remaining for them. RCB’s net run rate also suffered and this could be a big problem with quite a few teams breathing down their necks in the race for the playoffs.

After defeating Australia and South Africa in T20 series but 2-1, Team India along with skipper Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli has left for Australia where the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will be played. The Board of Cricket Council in India (BCCI) shared the official update through it’s Twitter handle.

Team India has left two weeks before the start of their T20 World Cup campaign. The team management has given this time for Men In Blue to get acquainted with the Australian conditions well in advance.

The reason behind this is the fact that at least half of the Indian players selected for the T20 World Cup 2022 haven’t yet experience the playing conditions in Australia before. Hence, to help them get used to the bounce there and get some good practice time, Indian team management have decided to travel there in advance.

IND vs PAK: Is Mohammed Shami the replacement for Jasprit Bumrah in T20 World Cup 2022?

ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will begin from October 16 but India will kickstart their campaign on October 23 against their arch rivals Pakistan in Melbourne.

India’s worst fear regarding Jasprit Bumrah has finally come true. The ace fast bowler has been ruled out of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 due to injury. Bumrah made a comeback in international cricket after six months in the India vs Australia T20 series.

And later due to the complaints of back niggle, he was ruled out of the bilateral series. But finally after much anticipation, BCCI made the official confirmation last night that pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the mega tournament due to a back injury.

And now reports have been making rounds on the internet that India’s most experienced pacer Mohammed Shami is most likely to replace Bumrah in the 15-member squad for the World Cup while Mohammed Siraj will travel to Australia as a standby. It seems like BCCI had to choose between Deepak Chahar and Shami, when Bumrah eventually failed to make the cut.

But now that Harshal Patel is not having his mojo back with Bumrah struggling with his placement of ball, Harshdeep and Deepak Chahar along with Mohammed Shami will be India’s only hopes.

When it comes to spinner, Ravindra Jadeja is out of the tournament due to his injury and Yuzi Chahal is also out of form. It will be interesting to see if skipper Rohit Sharma will include Ravichandran Ashwin in the playing XI or not. Hardik Pandya’s performance with the bat and ball, both will be crucial for India.

ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will begin on October 16 but India will kickstart their campaign on October 23 against their arch rivals Pakistan in Melbourne.
