Ben Stokes has commenced the new ear of England cricket by taking over the Test captaincy after Joe Root’s resignation. However, it won’t be easy for Ben to lead the England team. Firstly, because Joe Root has left an impeccable body of work and records as he was the most successful Test captain of England, with a record of most wins.
Secondly, because the initiator of cricket sport recently has failed to live up to the mark and has failed miserably. Hence, good and bad both records are after Ben Stokes. However, the new skipper is in a much more relaxed space of mind and doesn’t seem to be bothered by either.
