As the Indian cricket team prepare to clash with the Australian side in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, allegations by the Aussies came to light of the Indian side preparing the pitch differently in different segments. Indian Team skipper Rohit Sharma added his take after being asked on the allegations levelled by Australia’s former player’s, as well as journalists.
On Wednesday Indian skipper, upon being asked about his take on the allegations by the Aussies, gave a befitting reply as he said and urged to focus on cricket and not the pitch. Sharma added and said that all the 22 guys out there are all quality players.
Opener Rohit Sharma, while speaking about the pitch also admitted that the surface is going to be favourable for the spinners and stressed on the importance of rotating strike. The skipper also added and said that it is important to have a plan of action and chalk out a strategy for the match.
He further added and said that everyone has as everyone’s plan of action is different and said that the captains would obviously try different strategies and change fields and bowlers which is why they need to plan and play accordingly.
The Indian skipper also talked about how challenging the series might be for the Indian side in the highly-anticipated 4-match series. However, the Indian skipper also said that the Indian side has to be up for the challenge and stressed on the need for preparation.
He further stressed on the preparation aspect as he said that if Blues prepare well, they will surely get results.

IND vs AUS
The four match test series will commence on Thursday in Nagpur from 9:30 AM. The match will be played in Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium. The broadcast of the 1st test match will be available across Star Sports Network. The clash between the giants will also be streamed on Disney+Hotstar app in India.
