MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni voices out her displeasure over electricity shortage in Jharkhand
MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni questioned the concerned officials about why there’s always an electricity shortage in Ranchi, even after paying taxes on time and playing their part in power conservation.

Chennai Super Kings former skipper MS Dhoni is currently busy with the on-going season of Indian Premiere League. On the other hand, his wife Sakshi Dhoni took to Twitter to voice out her displeasure over the electricity shortage in Ranchi.
Ranchi is the hometown of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and ever since the couple got married, they have been living there only. Sakshi Dhoni, who is reportedly expecting her second baby seemed a bit furious and upset over the power cut done in Jharkhand every single day.
Complaining over the power cut, she wrote on Twitter, “As a tax payer of Jharkhand just want to know why is there a power crisis in Jharkhand since so many years? We are doing our part by consciously making sure we save energy!”
As soon as Sakshi tweeted about the power cut, tweeple supported her and asked the respected officials for some answers. People also retweeted her tweet and asked that if celebrities and rich people are also facing the issue, why can’t the state government care about the people who are not financially strong enough to afford the alternative.
Surprisingly, this is not for the first time that Sakshi Dhoni has asked the respective officials for some answers on electricity shortage in Jharkhand. Back in 2019 also she took to twitter to question about this problem.
She posted a message saying why do the people experience power cut daily from five to seven hours in the month of September when there is no festival or bad weather. She even showed hope that the respective official might look into the problem.
But seems like the cricketer’s wife was disappointed and hence voiced her displeasure once again. To the worst of concerned authorities, the residents of Jharkhand have agreed to Sakshi Dhoni and questioned the department concerned.

Asia Cup wrangle pits Sri Lanka Cricket Board against Pakistan Cricket Board
Pakistan will tour Sri Lanka in July to play two Tests of the next ICC World Test championship

The Pakistan Cricket Board and the Sri Lankan Cricket Board are not on the best of terms at the moment. The PCB is not happy with the Sri Lankan board for offering to host the Asia Cup and has refused to play a one-day international series in Sri Lanka.
Pakistan will tour Sri Lanka in July to play two Tests of the next ICC World Test championship. Apparently, the Sri Lankan Cricket Board had suggested that Pakistan play a few one-day international matches as they were positive the Sri Lankan team will book a spot for the ODI World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe. Hence, they would need more exposure before the event in October.
The PCB had initially said that they would consider the offer but refused it later. This sends a clear message that the PCB is not happy with the Sri Lankan Cricket Board’s proposal to host the Asia Cup as it was Pakistan’s turn to host the regional event.
PCB chief Najam Sethi was also upset with the response from the boards of Bangladesh and Afghanistan as well over the Asia Cup issue. Sethi had expected that Sri Lankan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan boards would convince the BCCI to go with the hybrid model as proposed by PCB.
The PCB chief did not refute media reports that the BCCI has rejected Sethi’s hybrid model and wants the tournament to be held in Sri Lanka. The bone of contention in the controversy is the Indian board is unlikely to send its team to play in Pakistan, though it has not formally announced the same, it has been making gestures to that effect.
A senior BCCI official said that there is absolutely no chance that Pakistan could hold the Asia Cup. The BCCI would like it if the ICC Champion’s Trophy is also moved out of Pakistan. According to reports, Sri Lanka was likely to hold the event. But the final decision will be made at the ACC meeting.
With strong relations between the BCCI and Sri Lanka Cricket, the BCCI wants the event to happen in Sri Lanka. At the next ACC meeting, the PCB chief will be conveyed the message.
