But Shreyas Iyer 82 off 102 and Axar Patel’s 56 off 56 brought Team India back into the contest.

Even Rohit Sharma came to bat with the tail enders to save the match despite being hurt. He scored 51 not out off 28 balls but his valiant effort went in-vain as he nearly took his team home while batting with a broken thumb, India lost the second ODI by 5 runs and with this defeat Bangladesh took a winning lead of 2-0 in the three match-ODI series.
