Apple has unveiled its much-awaited iPhone 13 smartphone series on Tuesday, IST Wednesday. The company has launched four new variants, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The new iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 are at the same price as iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 variants, but the company has made some big changes in all its iPhone 13 series.

iPhone 13 series display, new features

All iPhone 13 series phones get an OLED display. There are some new features which the company has introduced for the first time.

ProMotion: The company has introduced ProMotion in its top variants iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The feature will automatically change the display refresh rate according to need. For gaming, it will provide a 120Hz refresh rate while for other tasks, the smartphone provides a refresh rate of 60Hz.

Cinematic mode: All iPhone 13 series get in-built cinematic mode which will take your video recording game to the next level. The feature will give your normal video recording a cinematic look by focusing and defocusing your subject automatically.

The iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 get a two-camera set-up while iPhone 13 Pro Max variants have three-cameras set-up. The company claims the new iPhone 13 series display is 20 percent brighter as compared to its iPhone 12 series.

iPhone 13 series pricing as per variants

The company has launched the 13 series in almost a similar price range as iPhone 12 but due to the increase in internal storage, the price goes up to Rs 129,900.

The company has priced iPhone13 Mini 128 GB in India Rs 69900, Rs 79900 (256 GB) Rs 99,900 (512GB).

iPhone 13: Rs 79900 for 128GB, Rs 89900 for 256 GB and Rs 109,900 for 512GB

iPhone13 Pro: Rs 11900 for 128GB, Rs 129900 for 256GB, Rs 149,900 for 512GB, Rs 169,900 for 1TB.

iPhone 13 Pro Max: Rs 129900 for 128GB, Rs 139900 for 256GB, Rs 159900 for  512GB and Rs 179900 for 1TB.

When can Indian users get their hands on iPhone 13 series?

Customers from India, Canada, Australia, Germany, China, the UK, Japan, the US, and 30 other countries and regions can pre-order iPhone 13 series from September 17 from authorized dealer or from Apple’s official site.

Xiaomi launched its Redmi A3 smartphone in India on Wednesday at a starting price of Rs 7,299. The Redmi A3 comes in Halo design on the back, which is usually seen in more expensive Redmi smartphones. The Redmi A3 is priced at Rs 7,299 for the 3GB RAM/64 GB storage variant and Rs 9,299 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant.

The smartphone will go on sale from Februray 23 and can be bought from Mi.com, Flipkart and other retail outlets. The Redmi A3 features a 6.7-inch HD+LCD Display with a resolution of 1650×720 pixels and support for a 90 Hz refresh rate. The budget smartphone also features a waterdrop style notch which has the front facing camera with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top.

The Redmi A3 smartphone is powered by the octa-core Media Tek Helio G36 chipset which is paired with upto 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and upto 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage (which is expandable upto 1TB via the dedicated micro SD card slot). The smartphone runs on the company’s proprietary MIUI 14 custom skin based on the Android 13 operating system.
