Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 may include a S Pen slot
According to reports, the South Korean company intended to incorporate premium cameras and a dedicated S Pen slot on the Galaxy Z Fold 4, but was unable to do so because to weight and thickness restrictions.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note lineup, although the Galaxy Z Fold series appears better positioned to advance its principles. The Galaxy Z Fold 4, however, continues to lack a S Pen storage slot, which somewhat detracts from the experience. A recent study suggests that the Fold 5 might finally find a solution.
At the Galaxy Unpacked event in August, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the company’s newest foldable smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. After several months, rumoured information about the foldable cellphones for 2019 has surfaced online. To increase interest in the portfolio, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer may include a dedicated S Pen slot in its upcoming foldable product.
Samsung is apparently trying to make the anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 5 lighter and thinner than the current model since it anticipates the market for foldable smartphones to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of up to 80% by 2025. A tiny crease and a sturdy design are also anticipated.

Online rumours claim that Samsung may include a S Pen slot in its forthcoming foldable devices. According to reports, Samsung stated that one of the features required for foldable phones to gain more traction is a dedicated S Pen slot in a meeting with component suppliers. According to the report, further obstacles that Samsung feels providers must overcome in order to boost the appeal of foldable smartphones include durability, a slight screen crease, and greater camera performance.
According to reports, the South Korean company intended to incorporate premium cameras and a dedicated S Pen slot on the Galaxy Z Fold 4, but was unable to do so because to weight and thickness restrictions.
Although it has been speculated that Apple will launch folding tablets and PCs first, Samsung anticipates Apple to enter the foldable market as early as 2024.
The South Korean tech titan also expressed its belief that Apple will enter the foldable space in 2024, albeit with tablets and notebooks rather than smartphones as its initial products.
