Now, people are claiming that the Aam Aadmi Party is linked to the murder of the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa district of Jawaharke village on Sunday by unidentified assailants. But later, gangster Goldy Brar released a statement on social media allegedly taking the responsibility for Sidhu’s murder. In a statement, Brar said that he, along with Sachin Bishnoi and Lawrence Bishnoi, were responsible for the murder of the 28-year-old singer.
Brar claimed that Sidhu was involved in the killing of Vicky Middhukhehra and was also behind the encounter of Ankit Badhu. He even alleged that Delhi Police had put his name in front of the media but still, by using his power, he was avoiding punishment and no action was taken against him.

Who’s the real Goldy Brar?

No, this is not gangster Goldy Brar who was photographed with Punjab CM. The man in the photo is a businessman from Mohali, Punjab with the same name as a gangster. Viral photos of a Punjabi businessman, Goldy Brar, standing with Mann have gone viral, with captions in Hindi saying the gangster has ties to the state’s Aam Aadmi Party government. The man in this photo standing close to Bhagwant Mann is Goldy Brar, who has claimed responsibility for killing Sidhu Moosewala, the captions said.
After surfing the social media, it was found that this is a picture of a person named Goldy Brar who is a businessman and is nowhere linked to gangster Goldy Brar. The viral photo of him posing with Mann was uploaded by the account on March 10, 2022, with the caption – Congratulations CM Saab.
Brar later uploaded a video appealing to people to not share his photo claiming him a gangster. He added that he is a businessman and has no connection to the gangster Goldy Brar who has been accused of murdering Sidhu Moosewala. He also said that he will take proper legal action against those people who are circulating his photo.

Despite MoU agreement in Home Minister Amit Shah’s presence, Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border dispute returns back, 2 people killed
The incident happened when the victims were participating in a sapling plantation program on the occasion of World Environment Day in the Panbari area along the disputed Assam-Arunachal border.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma commented immediately after the incident, he said there is some issue in the areas of Dhemaji which is yet to be resolved and his government is on the process to resolve it. He claimed that the neighboring state does not attack Assam but there were some people in Arunachal Pradesh with the intention to occupy Assam’s land who were found to be involved in such activities. He also said, Police will investigate the matter, assuring appropriate action.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu also commented on the incident, he said Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are already in talks to settle the border dispute issue peacefully and in most of the areas the dispute has been already resolved. He said, direction have been issued to the people of both states to not to fight and appealed the people to avoid engaging in a clash and directly report to the deputy commissioners in case of any problem.
The border dispute goes back to 69 years, when North East Frontier Agency (former name of what is now Arunachal Pradesh) was taken out of Assam. A Sub-Committee was formed based and around 3,648 km of the plain area of Balipara and Sadiya foothills were transferred from NEFA to Assam.
The main motive of Arunachal Pradesh separating from Assam was the formation of Union Territory in 1972. Since then, there have been several attempts to settle the border dispute.
In an attempt to a peaceful settlement , Assam CM Sharma and Arunachal Pradesh CM Khandu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on April 20, 2023.
After signing of the agreement (MoU), in a press briefing, Shah termed it a historic moment in Indian history. He said the report that was continually considered contentious by different government and courts was accepted by both the State government and the 800 km long border dispute issue got ended.

Odisha train accident: 101 bodies still to be identified, 200 injured undergoing treatment
According to Divisional Railway Manager of the Eastern Central Railways, Rinkesh Roy, almost 200 patients are still being treated in various hospitals throughout the state of Odisha.

In the tragic triple train accident of Odisha, which took the lives of 278 people, living over 1000 injured. Out of 278 who died, 101 bodies are still to be identified, according to the officials.
According to Divisional Railway Manager of the Eastern Central Railways, Rinkesh Roy, almost 200 patients are still being treated in various hospitals throughout the state of Odisha.
The toll stayed at 275 since the Odisha government did not modify it. Rinkesh Roy responded figures do change over time when questioned about it.
The number of death had previously been put at 288. On Sunday, the Odisha government changed it to 275 after admitting that some remains were tallied twice. The chief minister of West Bengal and a former minister of the railway, Mamata Banerjee, disputed the statistics, claiming that 61 residents of her state died and another 182 were still missing. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) also said, 80 out of the 193 total bodies were recognised, and 55 of them were given to the relevant families.
However, train movement resumed late Sunday night with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who has been sleeping at the site to oversee restoration work, and with other senior officials. This was 51 hours after the triple train collision and barely five hours after the damaged rails were rebuilt.
The horrific accident took place on June 2, when the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express was coming from Shalimar to Chennai when it collided with a halted goods train on the adjacent track, resulting in one of the deadliest rail accidents in the nation. The rear carriages of the Coromandel Express then drifted off onto the third track.
The last two coaches of the Bengaluru-Howrah Express, which was coming by at the same time, were knocked down by a few coaches of the Coromandel Express.

Security beefed up at Golden Temple on Operation Blue Star’s 39th anniversary
On June 6, 1984, the Indian Army entered into the Golden Temple to remove Jarnail Singh Bhindarwale and his followers who had sought inside the Golden Temple complex, the news spread that Bhindarwale had hidden huge amount of arms and ammunitions inside the complex.

On the occasion of the 39th anniversary of Operation Blue Star, the security has been beefed up at the Golden Temple and all across Amritsar city as preventive measure for any unwanted situation.
DCP Law and Order Parminder Singh Bhandal said security forces in uniform as well as in civil has also been deployed across the city and inside the temple.
Bhandal said the decision is taken to prevent any kind of disturbance in the law and order situation in the city adding that large number of police personnel have been posted at different locations in the city.
Earlier Additional DGP Arpit Shukla had appealed people to maintain peace in Punjab and strict action will be taken against those involving in spreading rumours.
The prayers at the Gurdwara is going as per the usual course.

Operation Blue Star was the codename of the military operation of the Indian Army, which was ordered by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Reports say, hundreds of civiilians including soldiers lost their lives in this operation.
Months later on October 31, 1984, Gandhi was assassinated at her official residence in Delhi by two of her personal Sikh bodyguards, who fired around 30 bullets on her.
Earlier in the day, protestors were seen raising pro-Khalistan slogans with Bhindarwale’s posters at the Golden Temple.
