The story of the movie revolves around, an Indore-based couple, who wants to live independently of their family and wants to take advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), the government of India’s flagship programme, they seek a divorce.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is a typical Bollywood film that is pretty relatable to an Indian-middle-class family. Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali play the two college sweethearts Kapil and Saumya, who are smitten with one another. After getting married, they stay with Kapil’s family, where they frequently run into family members and find it challenging to spend time romantically or even in seclusion. The son of his mother snoozes between the two. They don’t have any space to themselves in the cramped house, and the maternal aunt of Kapil is your standard family villain who nags Saumya whenever she gets the chance.

The film uses the same humor and a regular storyline that is always there in Bollywood films. Although the second half of the movie drags, the heartwarming end will change the entire plot upon which the movie is made. A love triangle is also shown, which adds to the chaotic trip.
