8 people die in Hyderabad hotel fire, probe ordered
The officials, while talking to the media, informed that the majority of the victims who died in the unfortunate incident suffered from asphyxiation caused by the smoke.

A fire broke out in Telangana’s Secunderabad District on Monday night, which led to 8 people’s deaths. A fire broke out at an electric scooter showroom which later spread to a hotel located right above it.
According to reports, the first break out of the fire was on the ground floor of the building, where the scooter showroom was, and then later caught on to the whole building, spreading upward to the Ruby Hotel which was on the first and second floor. About 25 guests were staying at the hotel claimed officials.

Officials stated that the fire department succeeded in rescuing some people with the use of crane ladders while the locals from the area also chimed in to help with the situation. There are several videos surfacing that showed the strangled people in the fire trying to flee the fire by jumping out of the hotel windows.
CV Anand, Hyderabad Police Commissioner, informed the media that the injured have been rushed to the hospital and are going under treatment for the same, he also added that fire engines are at the location trying to tackle the situation and put out the fire.
Mohammad Mehmood Ali, Telangana Home Minister, has ordered a probe to look into the matter and find the cause of the fire. The home minister also told the media that the fire department did everything in its power and succeeded in getting many people out as well, but due to heavy smoke, some didn’t make it.
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, has come forward to show his grief and has also announced a monetary compensation of Rs. 2 lakh each for the family members of the people who died in the mishap, and Rs. 50,000 each for the injured.
The Prime Minister, in his tweet, also wished for a fast recovery of the patients who are in the hospital.

According to police, a thief failed to open the lockers of a bank and left a note praising the security system of the bank.
Police said the masked burglar got access to enter a government rural bank at Nennel Mandal headquarters after breaking the main gate’s lock on Thursday.
The thief said his fingerprints would not be there, he asked not to catch him as he did not take a single money. He said a good bank’s security system.
He looked through the cabins of cashiers and clerks but found no money or valuables. His attempt to open the lockers was unsuccessful. Next, he grabbed a newspaper and used a marker pen to write in Telugu, saying, he didn’t get any money, so don’t arrest him. Police said the bank is operating from a residential house without any security guards.
On Friday, the bank officials observed a robbery attempt and filed a complaint which resulted in the registration of a case under relevant IPC sections.
The police confirmed that they are trying to catch the burglar, and they are currently reviewing the CCTV footage. They also mentioned that they are continuing their investigation.
Another case was reported earlier from Delhi Wazirabad where a man stole a bag of cash worth Rs 10 Lakhs at gunpoint. According to reports, the incident transpired outside an ICICI Bank ATM and a security guard was also shot during the robbery.
In the video, a man wearing a mask with a grey hoodie was seen holding two guns as he pointed them in the direction of the cash van officials. The looter was seen asking the cash van official to bring out the bag from inside the ATM after which the man did as told and brought out the bag. The gunman goes on to carry the bag which had Rs 10 lakh.

The video attracted the attention of the forest department and later bear was caught by the officials. In the video, a wild bear could be seen running on the road and in the locality. The bear was spotted in Sripuram Colony on Friday night, and its activities were recorded by CCTV cameras.
This morning, local residents used their mobile cameras to capture footage of a confused bear wandering through a market area in the Rekurthi region. Forest department officials attempted to capture the animal using nets and tranquilizers near the suspected hiding spot in the bushes. The animal is near the bushes where it is suspected to be hiding.
In the video, the bear looked confused as it crossed a market area as eager users captured its movement on mobile cameras.
A person was seen running after the bear with a stick in hand. Others kept shouting to scare the animal away. It briefly stopped near an autorickshaw before entering a residential area. The CCTV installed in the residential colony caught the bear snooping around, looking for food or a spot to enter.
According to reports, the incident was not witnessed for the first time that a wild animal has been found roaming around in residential areas. This year, in May a similar incident occurred in Telangana’s Suryapet where a bear entered the locality and hid at the site of an under-construction building. It was later rescued by the forest officials and released in the wild.
As the news spread, locals started squatting near the under-construction building, while many, gripped by fear, shut themselves indoors. The forest department sent two teams along with the required equipment from Warangal and Hyderabad. The rescue operation lasted for a couple of hours. There was no damage and the teams safely rescued the bear from the under-construction building.
