Merry Christmas: Katrina Kaif shares working experience with Vijay Sethupathi; reveals performing scenes in Tamil was a challenge

Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas, which stars Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, is one of the most eagerly awaited films. Today the team held a press conference in Mumbai where Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi, producer Ramesh Taurani, director Sriram Raghavan, and Sanjay Routray came.

The crew has been actively promoting the film with just a few days left till its release and Katrina Kaif discussed the elements of the movie that she found difficult during the press conference. Vijay Sethupathi offered his opinion on the actor vs. star controversy.

When questioned about the films she had chosen, Kaif said, there are good directors and there are good stories, during the press conference. The actor further said her goal is to be a part of inspiring stories. Furthermore, she has always held the opinion that the director is the ship’s captain, the actor added.

Kaif said, for her, this was the result of a few very significant events coming together. Working with Sriram Raghavan has always been a dream of her.

She remarked that one of her favourite directors is Sriram Raghavan, and she was amazed that she would get to collaborate with him on a story like this when she heard the Merry Christmas story. She went on to say that the film’s Tamil and Hindi versions had worked incredibly well together. She said that was a huge challenge for them.

The Tiger 3 actor said, that for then was a big challenge. The scenes themselves, their nature, and acting them in Tamil present challenges because, of course, she dosen’t speak that language at all. However, both films have turned out quite well. Being a part of both films makes me very proud. Excited to present it to the audience, Katrina Kaif remarked.

Vijay Sethupathi was also questioned on Sriram Raghavan’s comment that he is a fantastic actor rather than a celebrity throughout the conversation. In response to the question of whether he would prefer to be an actor who later became famous, Vijay said, he doesn’t find any difference. Everyone is an actor.

Meanwhile, Merry Christmass is scheduled to hit the theaters on January 12.

The teaser of Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana has been released, offering the first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama. The film, which is planned as a two-part cinematic project, is scheduled for a Diwali release later this year.

The teaser shows several key moments, including scenes from the coronation and the exile period in the forest of Panchavati. Ranbir Kapoor appears in the role of Rama with a calm and composed presence. The teaser also briefly shows Yash in the role of Ravan towards the end.
