The official teaser for Sidharth Malhotra-Rashmika Mandanna starrer Mission Majnu was released on several social media platforms on Friday evening.
The fans poured their hearts out on social media after watching the power-pack teaser on Twitter and Instagram.

The teaser begins with a voice over showing army combat scenes when Pakistan had lost to India thrice in a war and was now planning a nuclear attack on India. The teaser shows the story of a heroic RAW agent, whose name is not mentioned in the pages of history.
Then enters the film’s star Sidharth Malhotra, shattering the window glasses of a moving train, making leaps over different bogies of the train. The actor wore a brown Kurta paired with a Nehru-jacket, in first look of the 1-minute-20-seconds-long teaser.
“I will do anything to protect India,” is the Sidhartha Malhotra’s dialogue when most of his fans got goosebumps.
Rashmika Mandanna will also be seen in the lead role opposite to Sidharth Malhotra. The film has been co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta. The film has been directed by Shantanu Bagchi, who earlier directed Thank God and Student of the Year.
Mission Majnu will begin streaming exclusively on Netflix, skipping the traditional theatrical release, on January 20.
While movie theatres in India may be fully booked, the box office chances for low and medium budget films are dwindling, forcing them to release on OTT platforms.
Despite the fact that these movies with bankable stars were intended for theatres, Alia Bhatt’s Darlings, Mohanlal’s 12th Man, and Kangana Ranaut’s Tiku Weds Shiru chose to debut online.
Anek, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and Runway 34, among other recent films that failed to bring viewers to theatres, performed poorly, underscoring the fact that only big-budget entertainers are making the cash registers ring.

Tiger 3 teaser out: Salman Khan all set to return as Avinash Singh Rathore
Tiger 3 is the third movie in the original spying franchise from Yash Raj Films which will be directed under the vision of Aditya Chopra, which is scheduled to release on this Diwali.
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan shared a sneak peek from his eagerly awaited action-thriller film Tiger 3 after which his fans were thrilled. The film, which Maneesh Sharma is directing and Yash Raj Films is producing, is scheduled to release on November 10, 2023. The major cast also includes Emraan Hashmi and Katrina Kaif. On Wednesday, the actor shared a suspenseful teaser from the film on Instagram, giving fans a sneak peek at his on-screen character.
The video has been titled as Tiger Ka Message. As the original spy of the YRF Spy Universe, Tiger, Salman Khan makes a comeback as Avinash Singh Rathore. Salman Khan says in the opening of the video that after 20 years of service to the Indian government, he has not asked for anything in return.
In the video, he can be heard saying that Tiger Gaddar hai. Tiger is enemy number 1. The remaining part of the video shows Salman engaging in combat alongside other heavily armed soldiers. The teaser’s punchline is Jab Tak Tiger Mara Nahi, Tab Tak Tiger Hara Nahi which translates as until Tiger is not dead, he is not defeated.
Fans are going crazy over Salman’s return as Tiger after hearing the specific dialogue, which has sent the internet into an uproar.
Manobala Vijayabalan, a film critic and industry analyst, penned the following, organic Rs 1000 crore film Tiger 3 is loading.
While Salman’s fans said, the teaser made them speechless, another fan praised the star cast as he said, steller star cast. Others also praised the teaser.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger franchise, which began with Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and continues with War (2019), starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, served as the foundation for the YRF Spy Universe. After Pathaan earlier this year, YRF Spy Universe’s newest film, Tiger 3, is scheduled to open in theatres this Diwali.

Waheeda Rehman to be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award
Anurag Thakur further noted that at the time when the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam has been passed by the Parliament, Waheeda Rehman being awarded with the lifetime achievement award is a fitting tribute to one of the leading ladies of Indian Cinema.
Indian actor Waheeda Rehman will be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award for her stellar contribution to Indian cinema. She is regarded as one of the finest actors of Indian cinema. The actor worked in more than 90 films, in a career spanning over five decades. Earlier, she was honoured with Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1972. She also received Padma Bhushan in 2011.
Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur announced that Waheeda Rehman is being bestowed with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award this year for her stellar contribution to Indian Cinema. He added that Waheeda Rehman has been critically acclaimed for her roles in Hindi films, prominently Pyaasa, Kaagaz ke Phool, Chaudhavi Ka Chand, Saheb Biwai Aur Ghulam, Guide, Khamoshi and several others.
The Minister mentioned that the actor in her career spanning more than five decades has essayed her roles with extreme fitness, leading to a National Film Award for her role as a clanswoman in the film Reshma, Shera. He continued that Waheeda Rehman has exemplified dedication, commitment and the strength of Bharatiya Nari who can achieve the highest level of professional excellence with her hardwork.
Anurag Thakur further noted that at the time when the historic Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam (Women’s Reservation Bill) has been passed by the Parliament, Waheeda Rehman being awarded with the lifetime achievement award is a fitting tribute to one of the leading ladies of Indian Cinema. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is the country’s highest award in the field of cinema. It is bestowed annually at the National Film Awards ceremony by the Directorate of Film Festivals, an organisation which was established by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The recipient is honoured for their remarkable contribution to the growth and development of Indian Cinema.

Dharma Productions unveiled the video of Alia Bhatt’s next film Jigra. The film is directed by Vasan Bala. It is the story of a sister’s love for her brother. In the film Alia will do anything to protect her brother. The film is scheduled to be released on 27th September 2024.

Alia took to X (formerly twitter) and wrote from debuting in a Dharma production to producing a film with them. She said it felt as if coming in full circle from where she had started. She said every day is a different day challenging, exciting and a little scary. Jigra is produced by Alia Bhatt’s own production house Eternal Sunshine and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Other projects of Alia include Jee Le Zara with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. But the film is stuck because Priyanka’s schedule has been affected by the strike in Hollywood. Variety of comments started coming on social media where on one fan said Alia becoming a producer and doing collaboration with Dharma productions from where she started as an actor. He added Alia is continuously rising as an entrepreneur producer and an actor. One social media user said the video of the film looked as if a new masterpiece was there on the way.
