The much-anticipated trailer of Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, has officially dropped, offering a first look into a deeply emotional and dramatic love story featuring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. Set for a theatrical release on July 19, 2025, the film promises a stirring narrative filled with passion, turmoil, and transformation.

In the trailer, Ahaan Panday is introduced as Krish Kapoor, an aspiring singer, while Aneet Padda plays a songwriter who crafts lyrics for his music. Their bond begins on a harmonious note, as they fall for each other and share joyful moments. However, the narrative soon takes a dark turn.

A shocking scene reveals Aneet’s character confronting Krish with a knife, demanding he leave an event. This intense moment marks a turning point in their relationship, propelling the story into themes of betrayal, confusion, and emotional collapse. As Krish wrestles with heartbreak, he receives sobering advice from his father, portrayed by Varun Badola, who warns him not to lose himself in love: “Apne pyaar ke liye na khud ko khatam mat kar lena.”

Further drama unfolds as the trailer hints at Aneet’s character marrying someone else, adding layers of emotional complexity and suspense to the film’s storyline.

Ahead of the trailer launch, director Mohit Suri shared his emotional connection to the film, stating that Saiyaara is his tribute to the romantic genre and the real-life stories that have inspired him over the years. “Saiyaara is my homage to the love stories I love and the sweeping romances that I have come across throughout my life,” he said.

Produced by Yash Raj Films under the leadership of CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara marks a significant debut for its young leads and is expected to bring a fresh narrative to the genre of contemporary romance in Indian cinema.
