Jawan advance booking finally opens in India, SRK says everyone is too excited

One of the most widely awaited films is Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, and while everyone can’t wait to see it, advance bookings have just begun in India. SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment posted a video breaking the news on its official social media accounts on Friday.

In the video, it can be seen that King Khan is happily scrolling through the phone and seeing the reaction netizens said Bahut bekaraar hai sab Jawan se milne ke liye which translates as everyone is too excited to meet Jawan. The video also included a number of sneak peeks from the trailer.

While sharing the video Red Chillies captioned the video, Aapki aur meri bekraari khatam huyi! (Your and our excitement is over.) Further, they wrote, that advance bookings for Jawan are now live. So book your tickets now.

Advance bookings for Jawan were already available in a few Mumbai multiplexes. While morning show tickets start at Rs 250, nighttime 2D IMAX show tickets can cost up to Rs 1,850, excluding taxes.

Meanwhile, Jawan has also been in charge of international bookings in advance. According to reports, Jawan has earned $200,000 (as of August 28) from overseas advance bookings, or just over Rs 1,65 crore. It should be noted that 450 places opened up advance reservations for the SKR starring. Additionally, advance reservations have started in nations like Australia, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates.

The film is written and helmed by Atlee. In addition to Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Riddhi Dogra play significant roles. Additionally, Deepika Padukone will appear in the film in a unique capacity. The movie is a Red Chillies Entertainment production with Atlee as the director, Gauri Khan as the producer, and Gaurav Verma as a co-producer. On September 7, 2023, the movie will be released in theatres worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Batwara 1947 has had a disappointing run at the box office, and actor Shabana Azmi has now shared her thoughts on why the film may not have connected with audiences. According to Azmi, one possible reason could be the difficulty some viewers had in accepting Sunny Deol as a Muslim character.

The film, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, was released on August 14. It has reportedly earned around Rs 53 crore so far, while Awarapan 2, which released on the same day, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.
